It didn’t take long for some of President Obama’s doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.
But a leading software expert says there’s no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.
The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.
But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.
“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.
Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.

What if is a loser game. Stick to actual facts. Obama has been hiding all his background, and that is suspicious. His known birth legend raises REAL doubts that he is eligible to serve as Commander In Chief, and the hiding of his history only compounded it. It is clear Obama is not a loyal and proud American under most historic interpretations of “loyal and proud”. For these reasons, which include the missing birth certificate as a significant part of the hidden history — the heroic Colonel Lakin refused to deploy. That is, Obama’s questionable loyalty and clearly questionable background need to be VERIFIED. As a previous and great Commander-in-Chief said “Trust-but-Verify”. No one in authority has verified Obama to any adequate extent.
Lakin is a hero, those who defame him are cads, curs and dogs.
Everyone knows he’s a troll from the first day he got here.
Ask Mr. Steyn to put a column or a power point on his website(s) describing which clauses in the US Constitution as mere technicalities, which are sort of okay and which are really really important. We all need to learn at his shoes on this. Obviously he knows so much more than any one else, including Madison, Hamilton and Jay. Not to mention Morris, Washington and the rest of the men at the Constitutional Convention.
I think he has to show it for MY benefit. How's that grab ya?
And I don't mean Bogus BC II. I mean that I want to be able to get my own certified copy from Hawaii. I want him to waive any supposed right to privacy he may have. I would certainly do it. But then I have nothing to hide on my birth certificate, except maybe my mother's maiden name. (She was really okay. I just worried about all those schmucks who think I'm the only one who could know it and use it as their security question for whatever account I might be inquiring about.)

I base what was done to Joe the Plumber in magical haste without his authority, that put on display his ‘official’ records as what can be done IF this bunch puts their collective wills to expose.
Why after the Clintons made hiding documents their MO and the ‘jon stewart’ media made making up documents about President Bush their high water mark, this whole mysterious black hole out of and over what the rest of US American citizens do routinely is NOT adding UP.
AND I remember ‘Watergate’ and the Washington Post worked tireless hours to find a ‘deep-throat’ to destroy a sitting President. I sat for hours and watched the hearings fully expecting to see/hear evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors.... there was NONE .... there was much manufactured accusations and some of the accusers did not want Richard Nixon to have access to an attorney...
I also get it that this man is their pick and their creation and they are NOT the slightest interested in setting the record straight.... But the MO of the extremes in which the left has demonstrated they will go is the signature that they are are once again reenacting history.
Well, you can ask for it. But don’t expect to see anything unless Obama thinks it is in his political interest to do so. Keep in mind that so far he has considered it to be in his advantage to keep those rumors alive.
this is what a newer long form California Birth Certificate looks like...they take a copy of the old black and white and put it on security paper the security paper has a raised seal on it (Lower left round image is raised IIRC).why doesn’t Hawaii do something like this? Too hard to forge?

In 1961 to go to Kenya and back would have cost a third to a half or more of a persons yearly salary.

In 1961 you also had a little problem going overseas and back with a thing called immunization. We were right in the middle of what was called the Cold War, ever heard of it?
There was a big fear of the Russians slipping someone into the country with an infectious disease.
Add to that the diseases that were rampant in Africa at the time, and it was pretty tough to get into this country from Africa without immunization shots.
In the 1960’s children had shot cards in order to go to school/travel..as for flights there were numerous unschedule-charter aircraft flying every where at low rates...the first airlift from africaw supposedly cost $300, And don’t forget Obie admits to passing through Australia with poor destitute mommie on one of his trips...
In the end, that’s your choice to make. Is/was he hiding something, or is he pretending to hide something just to drive you crazy ?
I very strongly believe the latter explanation.
But it used to not be that way. They used to use very good security paper with good borders and anti-copying background. Why did they go to much less secure methods? Who knows? 
Stanley Ann spent years - nay, decades - flying around the world. She had financing, money, funds, expense account, etc. Obviously money was no object.
Doctors couldn’t give immunizations? I got immunizations to go overseas in 1959 and 1960. It wasn’t a hard task and didn’t cost a king’s ransom.
Next argument.
The reporter and headline writer is at fault not Tremblay. Tremblay just speaks, correctly, to the layers theory. It is a dead end.
"No doubt Obama's birth certificate is legit" is not tight logic, but the layers do not prove forgery.
It’s a Dem talking point to minimize discussion and research.
