I agree. She is awesome. I thought the idea of stopping the pet projects in the states was brilliant. No more funding for cowboy poets and other projects the states can finance if they find them important. Instead, use that money to pay down the national debt. The more the debt is paid off, the less interest we pay. I hate the idea of our tax dollars going down the interest payment drain.
Instead of taxing $4 billion, how about auctioning off $4 billion worth of federal leases? We have had a March 2010 federal oil and gas lease sale. All subsequent sales have been cancelled.
To get out of debt, the federal goobmit is going to have to stop spending and sell assets. Just like anyone.
