PALM BEACH, Fla. Will Donald Trump actually take the presidential plunge and run for the White House in 2012?
Radio giant Rush Limbaugh now believes the real-estate tycoon and television personality will.
"Up until Friday, I didn't think so. I thought there were other things behind this," Limbaugh said on his program today. "And I still don't know, still into wild-guess territory. But now if I had to put money behind the guess, I would say he's running. I really think he is. As of now I think in his mind, he's running. Now, with Trump, anything can happen between now and that day that he says he's going to announce. ... I think he's gonna do it."

These last two posts are the equivilant of standing in a canoe in the middle of a lake, in an intense thunderstorm, holding a golf club .....Statue of Liberty style. Good luck with that.
Trump telling us he’s changed his key liberal positions just in time to run in the GOP primary isn’t enough for me. Especially not when the man has a history of being untrustworthy (ask Ivana).
In 2012, Trump was saying Romney’s position on self-deportation was too harsh and he was pushing for legalization of illegals on Fox News. And earlier this year he told the press that “at this point” he won’t negotiate away deportation of illegals. Which makes you wonder at which point will he?
Video of Trump in 2012 supporting legalizing illegals:
Trump is not bald. not even really thin haired.
I have seen him with his whole head wet a few times. its real.
It is a DA or Pompidor hairstyle... I think.
Levin is lightening up on Trump. I am confident he will support the nominee if Trump is that guy.
But there is a permanent rift in the party and it is done in its current format.
If Trump wins the nominination, he will have to win with the crossover vote to actually take office and the GOPe, won’t cooperate with his run or his term in office. I think most alleged Cruz die hards are actually “nevertrump” people at heart. They will all vote third party or write Cruz... IF trump is the nominee.
trump is hated by the GOPe because he is going to cut their political and financial balls off. They know it.
I suspect he will not survive... he’s too America First for these “outside cheap labor” folks to tolerate... I for one... think he is JUST what we need.
This has been a very exciting election.
” Hes a self-dealing charlatan “
Wasnt that quote from April.... of 2011?
I don’t trust a guy who decides to run for president...as a freaking first term Senator.
I don’t trust another Harvard lawyer....who’s never done anything but had a govt/politician career and has NEVER created a job or had to cover a payroll.
We’ve already tried all that....with 0bama!

Levin is lightening up on Trump.
He must be getting push back/dropped ratings.
Maybe he’s reading his FR threads....and all of his tweets/FB posts.
Last time I checked, they weren’t too positive, when he was doing his Trump bashing.
>> ask Ivana
Ivana and her children seem to adore him.
I’ve never maintained the position that Trump was a conservative ideologue. So it’s a waste of time to parade his business history as an indication of failure and contempt for the Country.
While so many GOP & Cruz supporters attempt to qualify Trump, there is no historical measure by which to judge him. That’s a fact. Trump is an anomaly.
The Cruz supporters need to be smarter about their disapproval of the choice we’re making to support Trump.
Obama is beloved by his party after 8 years and did exactly what they wanted. Don’t you want a Republican president who can say the same after 8 years? Obviously being a Senator or lawyer does not prevent a President from delivering what their base wants.
I couldn’t care less if someone ever “created a job.” I can name you 1,000 liberal businessmen who’ve done that. Check Silicon Valley.
In fact, that’s part of what makes Trump a bad choice. As a businessmen, he’ll want to keep the federal government strong and try to “run it better.” Cruz knows power is supposed to be stripped from the fed and sent back to the states. Cruz should have very little government left to run and very few government employees left to hire after he’s done implementing the policies conservatives have been dreaming for.
The only thing Cruz cares about is power.
Sure he’s patched things up with Ivana over the years, but that doesn’t change the fact that he broke his wedding vows twice...cheating on Ivana and choosing to divorce Marla. That goes to the issue of trust.
I think Cruz supporters are plenty smart about the choice they’re making. Trump supporters seem driven by anger more than anything else. That’s causing them to make an irrational decision in my opinion, a decision that feels good now but is likely to have bad consequences.
You’re really scaring me. Your entire post reads like a screed from Think Progress.
I never thought I’d see the day where someone on FR is actually complimenting AND justifying the disastrous 0blama...after the damage and destruction he/his policies have caused...or to say that they ‘couldn’t care less (which, grammatically means you care MORE) if someone ever created a job’.
This is a conservative site...where socialism is NOT promoted but JOB CREATING capitalism IS.
You are lost....you need to get back to DU.
And I care about giving Cruz the power to finally make the government conservative...with balanced budgets, dismantling of bloated entitlement programs, shredding of the bureaucracy, taking political correctness out of the military, etc.
LOL, nice try. Saying Obama succeeded at making the government more liberal and socialist is a simple fact. Rush and I hoped he would fail for a reason.
You are truly lost if you think the government is supposed to create jobs.
>> Levin is lightening up on Trump.
That arrogant clown made it personal with his former listeners.
Levin can go to Hell. I regret every minute I gave him on 770 AM.
Too bad we no longer have Bob Grant.
I NEVER said the government creates jobs.
I said Trump has created jobs....unlike untrusTED.
Government can get out of the way and reduce regulations and taxes...and not INCREASE business taxes with a VAT tax like regretTED’s plan will do.
Gene Eric: “Im guessing you spent some time in your quest to piss on Jim.”
Oh crap! My honest apologies guys. I saw some links back to these old replies by Jim about Trump that I thought were interesting, so I wanted to ping them to my FR comment list. I had no idea that my self pings to this old post would even be seen by other FReepers. I absolutely did not mean any disrespect towards Jim. I am not even sure how you guys saw my replies...
Jim, please forgive me for my offence.
Cruz is for the conservative dream of a flat tax. Trump wants to keep the socialist, progressive, graduated tax rates in place, which are designed specifically to redistribute wealth.
>> That goes to the issue of trust.
Yes, fidelity matters. But I didn’t live their relationships, and I’m certainly not a position to qualify which party was responsible for which outcome.
Should we make a list of great leaders that suffered personal failures?
>> Trump supporters seem driven by anger
To the contrary, the Trump enthusiasm here at FR was once fun until the paternal Cruz supporters began pounding their fists on the kitchen table.
WRongo.
Trump’s plan has been blessed and lauded by economic experts Larry Kudlow, Steve Forbes and Art Laffer as tax savings across the board and especially to middle class Americans as well as businesses. The only ones who might not fair as well are the hedge fund managers....since they get to underreport their incomes, under current tax laws.
So, cRuz PAC funder/hedge fund manager, Robert Mercer likely does not like Trump’s plan.
cRuz’s plan INCLUDES a business VAT tax.....which penalizes businesses and DOES redistribute wealth.
NO VAT TAX!!
Once it starts....it only increases!!!
