Well, it is an illegal war to begin with, why not go all the way? Why stop at an aerial drive by?

1. Wasn’t that specifically banned by the authorizing UN Resolution, and doesn’t the far left usually take UN resolutions as the supreme law of the land?
2. Why is this even our fight?
3. What does he think boots on the ground can do to protect civilians in towns and villages that we can’t already do from the air, and how many sets of boots does he think that will take?

If it hadn't been for PIAPS this thing would have been over a long time ago.
She is doubtless making money off oil speculation, but for the average American this situation just doesn't matter. It's the Euro’s problem — let them deal with it.

It’s an obvious trial balloon, and it needs to be popped before this day is done.

The United States may consider sending troops into Libya with a possible international ground force that could aid the rebels, I thought we were involved to protect civilians. Aiding the rebels means killing civilians as they are invariably caught in the cross fire.
Where in the UN Charter or the NATO Charter is there any language authorizing the use of force to take sides in a Civil War in which no foreign nation has been threatened or attacked?
Now that being said, WHERE IS CONGRESS ON THIS MISSION? Either approve it or impeach the imposter for starting it!

Ham said the operation was largely stalemated now and was more likely to remain that way since America has transferred control to NATO.The US IS NATO!!!!

I am sure they will love fighting a ground war 8,000 miles from home while not drawing a paycheck.

A large contingent of Marines shipped out to the Med from Camp Lejeune two weeks ago. By now I'm sure their ships are somewhere off the coast of North Africa in close proximity to Libya. The Marines are in position to carry out amphibious operations ... will they go in is the question.

The United States may consider sending troops into Libya with a possible international ground force that could aid the rebels, according to the general who led the military mission until NATO took over. Whether or not troops actually get sent, the important thing to notice is that Gen. Ham is saying that the original "humanitarian" mission has now transmogrified into an essentially open alliance with the rebels.
Just so's we can all keep our eye on this particular ball....

Opposition politics is popular and effective, but in poor taste and nonproductive.
He's thinking in terms of making this work and getting the outcome we want for our nation. His perspective is to make our team “win,” irrelevant of who is in office.
Don't make Libya into the Obama quagmire, illegal war...bla bla bla and do the typical anti war humdrum crap, defaming soldiers or victimizing them, looking for the Schadenfreude and creating false moral arguments etc. as the left did with Iraq and where they turned it into Bush's war and essentially did all they could do to make it fail (Which it thank God didn't). Just because Obama took cheap political shots at Bush and capitalized all he could from any mishap in Iraq, GITMO, Afghanistan doesn't mean we need to debase ourselves as he did.
