This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.
I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.
Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!
Hey, that’s the Williams Bay that is at Lake Geneva, right?
I still have a relative who has a home there. Their home is near Buttons Bay, east and south of Williams Bay. We went and celebrated the 100th anniversary of that house’s construction in 2008. They rented the Lady of the Lake and our group cruised around the lake and had dinner.
Last year Lake Geneva’s publisher of “At The Lake” put out a book I bought called “Geneva Lake Reflections, More Stories From The Shore”. My cousin who has the cottage at the lake told me about the book because her home is featured in the book and she knows how I love that house.
The book has a lot of history in the front of it. It’s very interesting. It mentions not only Lake Geneva’s history but what was going on elsewhere, and does have The Great Chicago Fire listed in the historical events.
I wonder if your relative’s home is in the book too.
There was a first edition of the book (since the one I have is “more stories from the shore”). The home you might have known could be in that one too.
There is a website in the inside cover for the publisher.

I see that stands for Nei-Turner Media Group Inc.

The home I know on Lake Geneva was originally the gardener’s cottage. It is a beautiful tudor style with the leaded glass windows and timber and stucco exterior. It is in the “Negawni” section of the Lake. Page 141 of my book.
Well, that was no doubt TMI.
I was up until 1am. Still a little punchy.
Must get to work now.
Kloppenburg leads Prosser by only 369 votes, and the five remaining precincts should be helpful to Prosser: two precincts are in heavily GOP counties, one is in a 50/50 county and two are suburban precincts in Milwaukee County.
Are there provisional and absentee ballots still out there?
Any way you slice it, there will be a recount.
It’s funny that the precincts all just start reporting now at the same time after not reporting anything all night. Almost as if on cue.
The recounts are going to last for months. Strap in. Just keep in mind that the entrenched TAKERS are going to fight like they’re in it for their lives against those of us that SUPPORT them with our tax dollars.
Change is difficult. None of this will be easily won. We just have to stay strong and keep supporting the good guys where and when we can. :)
Joanne Kloppenburg 739,014 50%
David Prosser (inc) 738,567 50%
Ah, well....
I predict, just as Wisconsin focused the nation's attention on the issue of oublic employee unions and their compensation and benefits packages, so to wull the recount cause a HUGE focus oin the issue of electoral fraud. The number of ballots that will be contested/tossed will be staggering...
Very good point!
It takes time to print up, box up, then "find" those extra ballots. Isn't it amazing... every friggin' time.
Who says there will be a recount if the Republican loses? That's never the way it works.
Because "the people" will be deemed to have "spoken."
Same one Stalin had...”it not what the vote count is, its who counts the votes that matters.”
Discovered truth in that in stolen Washington State Gov election twice!
Have the military ballots been tabulated yet? Or are military ballots still even counted in New America?
All Dane precincts are in (with no change to the totals). And I am guessing that the Milwaukee mayor was right when he said Milwaukee was all done.
A straight-line estimate would have had Klop gaining 400 in Ashland and 377 in Sauk. Instead she gained 416 in Ashland and 559 in Sauk. So instead of gaining 777 votes she gained 975. That’s why she’s in the lead now.
If there are no votes in Milwaukee and the outstanding precincts break according to the rest of the county, I’d have Klop ahead by 58 votes. If Milwaukee still has two to go, then it’s Klop by 180 votes.
Of the 7 remaining precincts, 2 are in Milwaukee County, Klop won those by an average margin of 61 votes per precinct, which works out to 122 vote gain for her (IF Milwaukee is not done yet).
2 are in Dunn County. Klop won there by an average of 22 votes per precinct, so that’s a 44 vote gain for her.
1 is in Juneau County, Klop won there by an average of 7 votes per precinct, so that’s a 7 vote gain for her.
Adding all her gains together to her 140 vote lead, that’s an estimated 313 vote lead.
1 is in Taylor County, Prosser won there by an average of 46 votes per precinct, so that’s a 46 vote gain.
1 is in Jefferson County, Prosser won there by an average of 87 votes per precinct, so that’s an 87 vote gain. So Prosser would gain 133 votes.
313 - 133 = 180 vote estimated lead for Klop if Milwaukee is not done, but a 58 vote lead if Milwaukee is done.
That’s too close to call, recount time.
Is there any possibility of delays in military ballots?
So, if the recount lasts several months, could the judicial decision on the unions be decided before the liberal takes a seat?
Less than 0.5% = free recount. There will be a recount alright and the first place Prosser should start is Dane County.
Not in New Amerika. definitely not in communist Madistan.
James Baker knew this when he stopped the FLA recount in 2000.
“Its funny that the precincts all just start reporting now at the same time after not reporting anything all night. Almost as if on cue.”
And less than half-hour ago, there were five precincts not reported... yet it appears Kloppenburg picked up more votes even though five precincts are *still* shown as not reported. AP mess up, or something else?
