TOM Selleck has quite the temper!
The actor apparently flew off the handle when an extra on the set of his TV show Blue Bloods picked up a real gun and started pointing it at people!
The extra who was playing a cop but had never held a real gun was horrified when Tom, a lifelong gun enthusiast and board member of the National Rifle Association, spotted him and yelled, Hey, YOU! What the HELL are you doing? That guns NOT a toy stop waving it around!
Look at you your fingers STILL ON THE TRIGGER!
According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, the extra then squirmed, Is the gun really loaded?
Selleck replied, No, its not loaded. But when you handle a gun its common sense to assume it IS loaded, and NOT point it at people!
Same here. Keep you finger off the trigger and don’t point it at someone. Always assume it is loaded.
When I was WW2 re-enacting, the Germans would use wood- tipped blanks in their MG34 and MG42 machine guns so they would feed correctly. Every blank firing adapter (BFA) had six knife edges to cutup the wooden projectile as it left the muzzle for safety. Those carrying the standard Kar 98 rifle were warned NOT to use MG blanks because as the ammunition aged, the wooden bullets hardened. The effect was the wooden bullet acted like a ball round at ranges out to a 100 or more yards.
Guess what? Yup, some moron put MG ammo with wood bullets in a Kar 98 and shot an Allied re-enactor. the wound was not life threatening, but the victim went to the hospital. After that, all the German troops with rifles that could accept the 7.92 wood-tipped blank had all their ammo checked by Allied re-enactors.
This was my first impression as well. Of course, something more accurate wouldn’t fit the MSM template to demonize gun owners.
“HEY, all you sexists out there! I think there are “rules” to be applied here!”
I’m a straight guy, and still think he’s “not guilt!” ;)
I was in a coin store once and the owner wanted to show me 25 caliber pistol that he was trying to sell. I opened the action and it was loaded. He said that one of his employees must have loaded it.
I was at the gun range awhile back and a police officer was in there trying to get a laser sight mounted on his pistol. He swept the room with the barrel several times. He laughed at the rest of us who were trying to avoid having the muzzle pointed at us.
