Trump Attacked for Demanding Obama Birth Docs

Donald Trump’s calls this week for President Barack Obama to release his birth certificate prompted negative reactions from pundits who would like to turn the tables on Trump and say, “You’re fired.”

However, Trump’s comments, made most recently in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, also garnered support from those who wonder why Obama has not supplied documentation of where he was born.

Trump rekindled the longtime controversy Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” when he said Obama was “probably” born in the United States, but he wants the president to prove it with a birth certificate.

As for the critics, Brian Lowry of Variety got personal. “More than anything, Trump looks like a buffoon — an egomaniac hopelessly addicted to the spotlight, floating the prospect of a presidential run to a gullible media to boost interest in himself and ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’" Lowry wrote on the magazine’s website.

“Moreover, he seems in complete denial about the fact that his NBC show crested some time ago. Seriously, 8 million viewers or so is ‘through the roof?’ Only if the ceiling is about three inches above your head.”

David Weigel of Slate magazine took up Trump’s challenge to show him a photo of Obama as a child. “I've seen 14-year-old,” Trump said. “I've seen 13-year-old. I haven't seen early pictures." Weigel’s column includes a photo of Obama as a child that appeared on the cover of Time magazine in 2008.

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, a friend of Obama's parents in Hawaii who said he remembers when the future president was born, first vowed to produce an original copy of the president's birth certificate this year.

But he abandoned those efforts because it is against state law to release private documents, CNN quoted his spokeswoman as saying.

Look, we know there is this very important angle about his father being British ( assuming his father is NOT Frank Marshall)...you will however, have “scholars” making convoluted arguments to protect his position til the end of time—hence why Obama was comfortable in this casual admission.

BUT, the other flaming, incriminating huge point staring us in the face -—regardless of that legal issue-—is the fact that this incompetent LIED to the American people and advanced a doctored COLB, probably a doctored Selective Services Card, possibly fraudulent use of multiple SS#’s.

These are FELONIES.

Huckabee did say that. And, his answer was correct. No one needs to prove where they were born, or their citizenship to run for POTUS.

Of course we knew about this since the beginning that Obama was never honestly and publicly vetted.

Under the Pelosi Congress, the CRS wrote a white paper that admitts Obama's background was never vetted as to be qualified for presidential office:

Trump doesn't have to have absolute knowledge, as in seeing the long form BC, to be certain. The fact that 0blahblah has put so much money and effort into hiding it is certainty enough to call his hand.

Trump is a major-league player who knows people and situations and can read them well enough to play the game without knowing the other guy's cards.

I don't think Trump wants to be president I think he wants to take this jug-eared buffoon down before he destroys our economy. With what is hurtling down the tracks right now even The Donald could be living under a bridge in the near future. And I think he loves this country but I would never vote for him.

Maybe you got a reply...but both parents were citizens and his father was serving in Panama, where he was born.

Some (?) hoped to stop him, but it is a good call for troops to have citizenship for their children when based overseas and family living there.

I read that “O” and friends tried to add another clause to the legislation...would it have cleared “O”? The amendment was voted down. I seem to have lost that information, but remember it being discussed here on FR.

Trump likely used campaign contributions as a businesses hedge against retaliation. It’s a business practice. Paying off political parties and different types of candidates is insurance by placating the politicians for you and your business against them passing ‘unfair’ laws and instituting stifling regulations, or they attack you and your business as “unfair” and then make you pay through the nose.

An example. Microsoft in the 1990s tried to stay out of politics. Gates didn’t payoff the Democrat Party so the activist Clinton administration using the Janet Reno Justice Department sued Microsoft because the Windows operating system was “too successful” - for being “a monopoly”. Bill Gates learned his lessen and now pays off every Dick and Jane politico, especially giving more to the rats. A lesson that Trump instinctively knows.
