An uncritical one line report in Mike Allen's 'Playbook' column at Politico this morning says:
"PRESIDENT OBAMA is taping his NCAA picks today, and they’ll be revealed tomorrow on ESPN."
With our top Asian ally Japan facing an economic meltdown on top of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear plant crises--an economic meltdown that is already affecting the U.S. and global economies; with the Middle East in flames; with the U.S. government on the verge of bankruptcy; with the U.S. still involved in two wars, Barack Obama is focused on being the wannabe cool guy with the jocks in school by being filmed picking his NCAA men's basketball tournament picks.
The last time Obama had a positive number in the Index was 6/29/09, nearly two years ago.
The highest number he’s had as president happened 3 days after the Inauguration.
The lowest number he’s ever had was -24, on 6/9/10.

I think he’s made the decision to be a one term President. He’s never had to work hard before, and he doesn’t like the pace of this job. He’ll make millions off of personal appearances and go golfing. Hillary is looking old for a reason. She’s contrasting her “maturity” to Obama’s youthful inexperience. And she has Bill to advise her.
Obama seems detached from reality, the look in his eyes, and his emotionless responses to questions,there is a reason they keep him away from live questions from the press.
