Ah, January of 2009. Hope was in the air, but more importantly, gas was under two dollars a gallon. Since then gas prices, have gone up 67 percent and it's an ominously upward trend. Interestingly enough, the Heritage Foundation also took a look at the first 26 months of Bush's presidency -- gas only rose 7 percent during that time frame.

Nobody has ever answered and few have ever asked, how the MEDIA knew before President Bush knew, that gas was going to be over $4 a gallon. The media played ‘gotcha’ with President Bush over it. Because they had prior knowledge of it. How does that happen?
And now that Obama has actually caused the rise in gas prices, the media sit silent. But Obama had every intention of making energy prices ‘necessarily skyrocket’..
Bush had Obamamedia working against him, even then. Of course it’s the flip side now, Obamamedia covering up and hiding the info on Obama’s behalf. Just like the Gulf oil spill, Just like Obama’s dithering on troops surge in Afghanistan, just like Obama’s bungling of the underwear bomber, just like the unconstitutional and bullying muscling through of the death panels and complete lies about saving money and lowering the deficit.
You don’t seriously think the media didn’t know about Tiger woods, do you? No, they knew, they wait until opportune times to let out ‘salacious’ headlines, especially when Obama’s dithering about something. Like Iran, Lybia etc...
People were stupid enough to vote for him. What does one expect from a commie who doesn’t understand economics or wilfully refuses to understand?

In 2008 when gas prices skyrocketed, I heard Austin lefties screaming about oil companies loyal to Bush making obscene profits.
Presently, as gas prices skyrocket again, I hear the SAME lefties claiming gas prices rising is good because the government needs more revenue for roads etc.
Trying to track the lefty thought process is like trying to track the flight plan of a mosquito.
