ATLANTA (AP) Newt Gingrich says his passion for his country contributed to his marital infidelity. In an interview posted Wednesday by The Christian Broadcasting Network, Gingrich who recently converted to Catholicism said he had sought Gods forgiveness for mistakes in his past.
Theres no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate, Gingrich said.
What I can tell you is that when I did things that were wrong, I wasnt trapped in situation ethics, I was doing things that were wrong, and yet, I was doing them, he said. I found that I felt compelled to seek Gods forgiveness. Not Gods understanding, but Gods forgiveness.
Newt is always about newt, what a piece of work,
Please go away Newt.
Newt is playing to the liberals.
Well... that’s an original one!
What was the woman’s name, America?....I was going to go a little further, but, err, no.
I will vote for an across the board conservative.
There will be at leat one running again.
If the Republicans run one, it will be theirs, and if not they chose to try to win without those of us who will not vote for a liberal again.
I won’t vote for a liberal no matter what brand name it is.
For the love of one's country is a terrible thing.
It banishes fear with the speed of a flame
And it makes us all part of the patriot game.
Yeah, real genius at work there. Like the time he cut the commercial sitting on the couch with none other than San Fran Nan telling us about the eeeeevils of anthropogenic Globull Warming. Yep, that dude is a freakin' genius! So much so he's already been run out of town once. Believe Newt at your own peril......
“I would vote for ANY Republican over Obozo, however.”
It turns my stomach to have to start thinking this early about the 2012 election and holding my nose with a puke bag at my side as I push the button on the ballot machine.
Sorry, this is an excerpt...forgot to hit the “excerpt” button.

This has to be one of the all time best lines I have ever heard! It's on a par with “haven't we met before”? Gotta love ole Nute. Next thing you know, he's gonna think we are stupid enough to vote for him, LOL! What an arrogant, condescending, self aggrandizing piece of crap! Did I forget anything?
Well, if the nominee’s Elmer Gantry, Willard, or Newt I’m staying home election day and getting plastered.
I refuse to compromise on any more RINOs. If the GOP is stupid enough to put one up again like they did with Juan McLame four years ago, then we deserve another Obama term.
John Edwards only loved his country twice, but Charlie Sheen loves his country twice a night!
Sounds like the WH would guarantee him a 4th wife.
Pray for America
He’s nuts if he thinks anyone will buy that.
But then... Obama wants us to think that he destroyed our health care system because of his love for America.
