Howdy everyone!
Thank you all very much for you prayers!!
Yeah, I came here for a check up and they decided to admit me. Theyve drawn blood already (three times) and have had three doctors look me over. They gave me dinner tonight, but no breakfast in the morning (just in case). The surgeons will come in in the morning to decide whats next. My poor old leg is looking pretty sick. They told me they didnt know if it had to come off tomorrow or next week, or next month, but there is definitely an amputation in my future. The damn thing has been hurting like crazy for the last couple of months and is leaking water like a sieve, so guess Ill be better off without it anyway. I hate leaving puddles everywhere I go.
Thanks again for your well-wishes and prayers.
God bless,
Jim
Dude. It’s time for me to go to bed. I read “poodles” in that sentence.
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boy.
Hey, we love you, as you can tell. Dr. Z’s on it, OK??? :)
And, more than that....God’s on it.
You’re more of a man on crutches than many on two feet.
Christ is with you. Not to worry.
Prayers to you and your family, Jim, that you all may have strength to endure the challenges ahead! And get better soon!
God bless you, Jim.
God bless ya, in the hospital and still you are the one keeping US strong! You are a marvel Jim, and you WILL feel better soon!
Don’t give up the ship!
We love ya too much for that!
I hear a lot these days that it’s hard to find heroes. I need look no further than this organization (Free Republic) and its founder, Jim Robinson, to see one of mine. Thank you Jim for all you do.
Prayers up!
God bless you and keep you well Jim.
God’s blessings to you Jim and my prayers.
Good luck and get well wishes from my family.
Dear Beloved Jim,
What an honor to have known you through this site. What a courageous man you are. God knows your heart and he has given you a big one. I’m praying for a miracle and favor from God. He knows how much you are needed.
Blessings in Jesus name.
Hate to hear you’ve been in pain, Jim. Hope you’re doing well & feeling better. Will keep you in my prayers & thoughts.
Oh, no! I am so sorry to hear this news! I’m thankful that you are in such great spirits, though.
It sounds like you’ve come to terms with your ailment, and you are funny in the process.
So...why should I feel sorry for you? lol
You have an amazing ability to sort things out, and come to the right conclusion.
You are an awesome inspiration. Thank you.
So...do what the docs say needs to be done...whatever that is. Get well, and get home, soon!
My prayers are with you...
Thank you for the ping, Just Amy! I’m sorry that I didn’t see it before now.
Well you won’t be alone in having body parts missing Jim. I can attest to that! But I’m sure glad the Dr’s seem to think you’d be better without a bad leg then with a very bad leg. My step-father lost both legs from diabeties....best to remove when they get as bad as you have indicated. Hopefully sooner than later I think.
Thanks for keeping us all informed....You ARE the man!

My prayers are with you Jim.
