They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

Continue your walk with God and your marvelous sense of humor, we all love you and will keep you in our prayers through this.
I know He will see you through whatever trials...and it will end up for the good. That's His promise to all of us, and I thank God in Heaven for Him, for that promise of rest and peace through His atonement and for what He did for us all.
Thank you, Jim, for your example and service to our republic and undieing dedication to the principles that are its foundation, which are the same principles of our Savior.
Just know that our thoughts, prayers, and love are with you...tens and hundreds of thousands of us as you face this. He will be there for you too, I know.
