Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.
They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

The first hint I had that there would be no surgery today was when they brought me lunch. And it looks like I’m scheduled for dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow morning.

Good news! This was my favorite part:
Oh, yeah, and he said they’re making arrangements for me to be treated at the wound care specialist’s clinic. She’s the one of ten doctors who thinks it can be saved.
That gives me hope for a long term solution, which just might save that leg altogether. At the very least it will allow you to keep it a while longer.

And Prayers still ongoing for Jim and his infections. Those bone infections can be nasty.
