The protesters agreed to leave peacefully so the capitol building could be cleaned. Later, they organized some seminars on "passive resistance". Now they're pouring in the building and refusing to leave unless they're handcuffed.

"You are in the Capitol in violation of the law. In 15 minutes we will begin dispensing tear gas in this building. You have been warned. Any subsequent medical problems you might have will be your own responsibility. People unable to leave once the tear gas has been dispensed will be arrested and charged with felony trespassing."

One wonders where the vocal conservatives are? Where are the "Tea Party-ers"?? Why have they not the gumption, the "stick-to-itiveness", the faith, the "cause"???

All we have are the dem/lib/prog/pops in the state capitol...and no other voice is heard.

Tea Party??? Where?? Baahh.

The rhythm of that drum beat is designed to incite violence. It’s just not overt.

A fine mist of rubbing alcohol would be just as effective as a water cannon.

“Close down the building, cut the power and water, and remove the cameras - that will take care of them in short order.”

I suggested something like this last week.

The first thing you do is to lock the bathrooms. Then you turn off the water fountains. Then you turn down the heat and start turning out lights - not all of the lights because there always has to be some on for security purposes.

Then you blockade the doors. Anyone is free to leave but no one is free to enter.

You get the feeling that they know their collective bargaining rights are next on the chopping block.

What do you want the tea party and other conservatives to do in this situation? Do you think they should come to our capitol today and cause even more problems for the police?

Someone just picked up the Fox News live feed camera which had been focused on the protest in the rotunda, and walked away with it, pointing it at the floor. It is now focused on some wires on the floor in a corner. Who has access to Fox News equipment?

What would really hurt them the worst is to ban the press from interviewing or speaking to them.

My two cents, I think you should post that as a separate thread. It’s big! There has been no violence until now.

I guarantee they are there, but if the media doesn’t cover them, nobody would know... It has always been this way.

A couple more weeks of this and Wisconsin school children may start having independent thoughts.

This sounds good in theory, but, I heard Gov. Walker say that CB falls in the category of budget, so, it can’t be done any other way.
