Looking at population projections for Texas, demographer Steve Murdock concludes: "It's basically over for Anglos."
Two of every three Texas children are now non-Anglo and the trend line will become even more pronounced in the future, said Murdock, former U.S. Census Bureau director and now director of the Hobby Center for the Study of Texas at Rice University.
Today's Texas population can be divided into two groups, he said. One is an old and aging Anglo and the other is young and minority. Between 2000 and 2040, the state's public school enrollment will see a 15 percent decline in Anglo children while Hispanic children will make up a 213 percent increase, he said.
The state's largest county - Harris - will shed Anglos throughout the coming decades. By 2040, Harris County will have about 516, 000 fewer Anglos than lived in the Houston area in 2000, while the number of Hispanics will increase by 2.5 million during the same period, Murdock said. The projection assumes a net migration rate equal to one-half of 1990-2000.
Most of the state's population growth is natural, Murdock told the House Mexican American Legislative Caucus today. About 22 percent of the growth comes from people moving to Texas from other states.
About 6 percent of the state's population is not documented, he said.
By 2040, only 20 percent of the state's public school enrollment will be Anglo, he said. Last year, non-Hispanic white children made up 33.3 percent of the state's 4.8 million public school enrollment...
The state's future looks bleak assuming the current trend line does not change because education and income levels for Hispanics lag considerably behind Anglos, he said....

A decent High School Education of the 1950's left those who made it through infinitely better informed than a great many of today's college graduates, as a simple chat with many 25-35-even 40 year-olds should amply demonstrate.
For example, in my substitute teaching "career," I meet young-ish foreign language teachers, with their teachers college certificates upon the wall, who could not coherently ask for a glass of water in France or Mexico. In ye olden days, any non-incarcerated high school junior certainly could, and in Germany too! And ye gods! The students. Tattooed, pierced, bare midriffs, and all, they still have, one can sense, the same native intelligence as we do, but totally out of connection with the civilization or culture of the West, coupled with a complete disdain for fact or logic. Yes, it is much better in "upper-class" districts ... thank goodness... and at least to some extent!
For me, the (fraudulent) election of the Martyr, St. JFK in 1960 signalled somehow the beginning of the end for the US as a constitutional republic. This is not retrospective. We said it and we wrote it at the time. We knew it! It was patently obvious as the triumph of incandescent bulshiite over reason and reality. I think you should be listening to CA conservatives. Because CA used to be a conservative state. If you don’t learn from the lessons of CA, Texas will be the same in 10-15 years. And once Texas is gone, good luck ever getting a conservative elected president.

Texas has become a non-white majority population, the U.S. Census Bureau said Thursday, a trend driven by a surging number of Hispanics moving to the state.
According to the population estimates based on the 2000 Census, about 50.2 percent of Texans are now minorities. In the 2000 Census, minorities made up about 47 percent of the population in the second-largest state.

That time is coming sooner than many realize. That situation already has arrived in many cities and counties. We will be persecuted aliens in our our nation unless we fight -- in politics now, and soon in the streets.

Not YET, they can’t.
But kids get older, of course.
And, eventually, they WILL be able to vote.
It doesn’t matter that “illegals can’t vote”. It doesn’t matter one whit. Nor does it matter if they EVER become naturalized or “amnesty’ed”.
What DOES matter is the fact that illegals are churning out throngs of brand new “citizens”, who within 20 years WILL have the power to vote and to change the political and cultural climate.
The almost unmentionable truth is that illegals will “self-naturalize” by a kind of default, through their offspring, which they have by the basketfuls (or, should I say, bassinet-fulls).
We are reaching the point where it makes no difference if we NEVER have an amnesty. It won’t matter. It’s simply too late.
The ONLY things that can prevent the coming demographic disaster (and the cultural and political disasters that accompany that tsunmai) would be:
- A forced removal of illegals from our soil
- The stripping of citizenship from the children of all illegals by Constitutional amendment (which would probably be impossible due to the Constitutional ban on ex-post-facto laws)
NEITHER of the above is ever going to happen.
Where does that leave us?
