I love how the AP writer tags the word "rights" on collective bargaining. Also, this is classic: Republicans in the Wisconsin Assembly took the first significant action on their plan to strip collective bargaining rights from most public workers, abruptly passing the measure early Friday morning before sleep-deprived Democrats realized what was happening. I love it when these writers provide handy excuses for Dems.

All that rage and no power to be able to screw us instead.
I just can’t imagine how powerless someone would feel in that circmstace.
- - oh yes. Maybe I can.
When they were in power how did they treat Republican legislators under the same conditions?

Notice how they do this. The Republican’s plan to strip rights from workers. That’s the basic sentence. They reduce the important words to mere adjectives and adverbs. AP writers do this with abortion issues, too.

What a bunch of sheep! Workers have much more rights in a “right to work” state than in union only states. In a “right to work” state the workers have the CHOICE of joining a union or not joining a union. You'd think that workers would what the choice of freedom instead of being herded into a union against their will. What a bunch of sheep.

Ya know, it almost feels like an intervention I was once part of. The public sector unions are addicted to taxpayer money and we are trying to wean them off to the benefit of everybody, and they are refusing treatment. Sometimes ya just gotta let somebody go...
