Uh oh....now reporting that the Republican Senators are GALVANIZED. As in, no longer squishy.
heh
:)
I suppose if they could declare these seats as abandoned, then they could run the place with just 19 pubbies until the special election replaced the missing people...
Flight risk. Orange suits and chains a must as well as protective custody for a week or so.
They just reported this a second ago.
Senators are at something called The Watch Tower in Rockford.

Send in the cops and DRAG their sorry butts BACK to Madison!
If the COPS won’t go in, gather some volunteer “MinuteMen” from among the Wisconsin Tea Parties and send THEM in to subdue and drag their sorry butts back to Madison!
“being helped by none other than obamas website Organising for America.” Actually that’s Organizing For Fat American Liberals. Offal for short!
It looks to me as though the Democrats ARE SHUTTING DOWN THE STATE GOVERNMENT, just weeks before they plan to shut down the federal government and blame it on Republicans.
Wanted Posters in the Post Office!
Scroll down to Rule 89.
“Wisconsin is divided into 33 Senate Districts (1/3 of the current Assembly membership of 99) apportioned throughout the state based on population as determined by the decennial census, for a total of 33” — wikipedia
“2011-2012 SENATE MEMBERSHIP Republicans - 19 Democrats - 14” — http://legis.wisconsin.gov/senhome.htm
Sorry, that’s not the reason. A majority of the Wisconsin Senate is 17.
Yeah, at the Statesville Resort.
... cameras in the statehouse caught numerous lawmakers voting up to four times on a single bill while casting ballots for their absent colleagues...
This is excellent work.
So, why do they need 20 senators to do business?
I agree. The Governor needs to make immediate cuts to restore fiscal balance. Fire their kiesters, Donchaknow.
Then they'd better be renting the whole place, because once the management figures out they can't rent rooms with their phone lines tied up by angry taxpayers, they're gonna lose money.
People on FB are calling for TEA Party members to rally outside the Clock Tower and call out the dems.
Based on just this little limited reading, they could really shut down the govt if the dems don’t come home and the pubbies hold their position (which they should.)
Popcorn, please.
In December 2005, the Washington Post reported, "Justice Department lawyers concluded that the landmark Texas congressional redistricting plan spearheaded by Rep. Tom DeLay violated the Voting Rights Act, according to a previously undisclosed memo" uncovered by the newspaper.[10] The document, endorsed by six Justice Department attorneys, said "the redistricting plan illegally diluted black and Hispanic voting power in two congressional districts."Justice Staff Saw Texas Districting As Illegal
The Supreme Court of the United States issued an opinion on the case in League of United Latin American Citizens v. Perry on June 28, 2006. While the Court said states are free to redistrict however often they like, the justices invalidated Texas's District 23, citing a Section 2 violation of the Voting Rights Act. This decision will require lawmakers to adjust boundaries in line with the Court's ruling.Justices Back Most G.O.P. Changes to Texas Districts
But aren’t there more recent reports that they left the Clock Tower?
