-Mr Mubarak defied protesters on Thursday, vowing to hold on to power until presidential elections in September.

-His speech drew a strong response from US President Barack Obama, who said Egypt needed a "clear and unequivocal" transition of power.

Amen daisy mae, I believe I understand the depth of those men and women who went before us (though I was not one of them), and I understand fully why they prayed constantly for forgiveness concerning those who went out to defend us and America. And yes God's plan, and not my plan will be done. I still pray to God for mercy though, and pray the devil will soon be chained before he is allowed to play again. I ache, in my heart, when I remember how the devil plays. I certainly wish there was a way God would allow good men and good women to say ... hey devil ... go play somewhere else. So thus, Amen to God's plan, for I believe God desires I digress. Thus may everyones’ dreams tonight be all one could dream for and of. May God watch over us all. Nite All.

Here’s another thing to ponder- if you don’t already have a plateful:

http://rubinreports.blogspot.com/2011/02/iranian-warships-send-message-tehran.html

Iranian Warships Send Message: Tehran Now Number-One Muslim Power in Region
By Barry Rubin

It is common today to speak of the U.S. overthrow of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein as having unintentionally made revolutionary Islamist Iran from more powerful. Will the overthrow of Egyptian dictator Husni Mubarak have a similar effect?

Here’s something that might be a sign in that direction. Two Islamic Republic of Iran warships just visited the Saudi port of Jeddah in the Red Sea. No, that wasn’t a misprint, I said “Red Sea,” and not “Persian Gulf.” This is the first time Iranian warships have been in the Red Sea, just down the coast from Israel and just across from Egypt.

Not only is this a strategic alarm bell for the United States and Israel but also for the Saudis themselves. Bereft now of their last significant Arab ally and feeling unable to depend on the United States, the Saudis are facing their worst strategic situation since the 1950s at a time when Iran is spreading its influence and racing toward nuclear weapons.

But that’s not the only kind of weapon Iran is getting. It just sank a floating target with a new missile having a 250-300 km. range with high accuracy. Called, rather significantly, “Persian Gulf” (Khalij Fars), it has a sophisticated guidance system, is based on Chinese versions, and operated by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corp (IRGC).

Defense News explains: http://defense-update.com/wp/20110208_fateh110_eo.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+DefenseUpdate+%28Defense+Update%29&utm_content=Yahoo%21+Mail

“The implications for the U.S. Navy are serious....Iran could potentially track U.S. Navy carrier groups at long distances [and] try to target [them] without early warning. It also means that the U.S. Navy cannot consider the [Persian]Gulf as safe....

~snip~

Nor the Red Sea either.

Gradually but steadily, the Iranian regime is building up its power, even aside from nuclear weapons. Though it might take many years, one day—through Iranian miscalculation or hubris—there might be a U.S.-Iran war in the Persian Gulf.

“We are in absolute existential danger.”

I have had this on my mind, also. My thoughts, for what it is worth...

Individuals who have the following priorities are hated and feared by those following the Marxist viewpoint:

God first, Family second, Service third, and self last.

Marxist priorities are exactly opposite: self first, service second (career, job, etc.), family third, and any kind of god as a self-comforter.

Perhaps approximately 65% of Americans were raised with a version of the first set of priorities, however, about 35% of those have weakened their commitment.

Marxists assume those weakened are converts to their cause.

My instinct is that if a national or world crisis developed, that 35% will return to what gives them the most feeling of security—the values with which they grew up.

We can work to eliminate the affect this existential danger by reminding all we know of their childhood values.

In reality, Marxists probably only account for about 20% of our population!

They just seem like they are equal in number to conservatives because they are well placed in visual and vocal positions and they work in unison like all good communists do. There is no independent progressive—they must operate as a whole in order to survive.

ULTIMATELY, what makes the Marxists strong right now, will eventually lead to their downfall. The sheer numbers of conservatives who think independently will eventually over-power the group think of the Marxists.

It’s a roots issue for all. If the 65% gets back to their roots, the 20% will be defeated, and the stragglers will follow who ever leads as has always been the case since the beginning of time.

Again, my boring, rambling thoughts, for what it is worth.

Minister of State for Industries Ayatullah Durrani Durrania..."The time is approaching fast. Barack Hussain Obama must act now. This is a golden opportunity, Muslims badly need it." Obama''s elevation to the Islamic Caliphate would be the "key to success, he claimed but did not offer any explanation for his remarks.

Chilling remark from your link. I've never seen this before.

This is one you guys should read:

The Wikileaks-Egypt-White House-US Government Connection

http://ameristroika.wordpress.com/2011/01/30/the-wikileaks-egypt-white-house-us-government-connection/

“At the Alliance of Youth Movements the participants were trained for this protest and reflections on Egypt were discussed immediately afterwards. Here is a screen shot of their agenda-”How to be a Dissident”- immediately followed by the discussion on Egypt. Undersecretary Glassman’s interviewer had uncanny intuition.”

yeah right!

Obama did his best to knee cap everyone in Egypt to instill a Muslim state that hates Israel. It was his goal which is why he used his left army of Code Pink to go in.

This was orchestrated by him to be the beginning of the end of Israel

It is hard to feel sorry for the Saudis', this is the country that has exported the radical moslems we see today. Judgment always will show up.

Of course the Rubin Report does not go into all the protective long range capabilities our strike carrier groups have.
What I read is that they have a new missile platform that is slightly better then what I was involved with while at Westinghouse AeroSpace/Defense many, many years ago when working on the Harpoon Cruise missile computer system.
Our Carrier Battle Groups have long looking air radar, AWACS, other things I won't mention, to track anything within our CBG space.
As for the two "warships" that pulled into the Red Sea. What kind of warships. Are they ninety foot patrol boats of no significance.
Thanks for the ping, but I am not going to get riled up over this one.
