ElBaradei: The Israelis Have A Peace Treaty With Mubarak, Not With The Egyptian People
The Business Insider ^ | 2/6/2011 | Gregory White

Mohamed ElBaradei, one of the key leaders of Egypt's protest movement, has brought his country's peace treaty with Israel into doubt in an interview with Der Spiegel.

From the Der Spiegel Interview:

SPIEGEL: Are you now saying that a government that included participation by the Muslim Brotherhood would continue on with Mubarak's policies toward Israel?

ElBaradei: No. Something the Israelis also need to grasp is that it's impossible to make peace with a single man. At the moment, they have a peace treaty with Mubarak, but not one with the Egyptian people. The Israelis should understand that it is in their long-term interest to have a democratic Egypt as a neighbor, and that it is prudent to

Then, once Mubarak is gone, I guess Israel is at war with Egypt again. They should bomb his inauguration.

No, it's in their interest to have a stable Egypt as a neighbor. Big difference.

Well I don’t think Americas involvement in leaving Mubarak in power...

That sounds like a straw man, historical support for Mubarak is factual, but the worst thing we could do right now is leave him hanging out to dry based on some abstract principle. The leftists always like to say he is our right-wing stooge and we should support some socialist thugs instead. But socialism is not the end goal behind the scenes in Egypt, it is theocracy. What we should support is Mubarak followed by a transition to a new government that is elected without bias towards the extremist Muslims.

The world now sees why having a naive inexperienced Community Organizer as the leader of the free world is not only something that is bereft of logic, it may take generations of dead American’s to recover.

El Baradork now in league with the Muslim Brotherhood is clearly sounding the public signal for all Islamists to hear...”we take out Mubarak, then we will assist all of to to kill every last Jew on the Planet”.

And ALL of this, and the coming war in the ME to save the Jewish people and Democracy from Islamists now about to seize the most powerful Arab country in the world is because of Hussein Obama that ignorant, stupid, F’ng traitor to his own country.

Stunning.

Mubarak never signed any agreement with Israel. El Baradei should be sent to Gitmo.

Alternate headline: “Muslims want to kill Jews.”

This may have been addressed on another thread, but did anyone see David Gregory’s interview with ElB on MTP? He quickly cut the guy off as soon as ElB began to say that he/the Bruthahood was not necessarily 100% onboard with the Israeli Peace Treaty. Literally cut him off at the pass to stop further embarrassment, and to stop the truth from coming out. Why cover for the Bruthas, Gregory?????

We never had good relations with Egypt. We don't have good relations with any Muslim country. We simply offered them a better deal and better equipment and more money than the USSR did. Soon it will be the Chinese.

Egypt votes against us in the UN every chance they get. Every Islamic terrorist group sprung from the Brotherhood. All Egyptians who died on 9/11 are heroes in Egypt.

Anyway, it appears every single thing Carter did as President has born rotten fruit.

“The thing is, he can count on UN and O’s support in the coming war.”

Speculation...

You’re speaking of the war between Israel and Egypt? Wondering if O will use American troops to merely bleed away the Christian blood of our soldiers and then pull out leaving Israel to finish the war on its own.... O is all about chaos, noting more.

Our new House ought to be using it's oversight function to probe into how this committed islamist was allowed to be put into such a conflict of interest situation of overseeing the Iranian nuclear weapons program.

This stinks to high heaven!

Godspeed

What is it with these Muslims’ burr in their britches about Israel? The amount of land Israel has in their country is minuscule when compared with the glut of land the Muslims have in the Middle East. It looks absolutely hoggish of the Muslims to act like they do about it. The Lord is going to have to settle it finally, and the Muslims will not like the way it is settled.

Also as head of IAEA he concluded Iran was not attempting to build nuclear weapons. Maybe if he doesn’t get the office he wants in Egypt, Obama might consider appointing him our new director of homeland security.

Something the Israelis also need to grasp is that it's impossible to make peace with a single man.

We should all grasp that and act accordingly. Unless most muslims are willing to pledge their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to protect the unalienable rights of others, they will continue to be in a state of war against humanity. And they deserve to be treated likewise.

indeed he does so therefore what we have is Soros having his puppet in the white house, and now in Egypt which means he Soros controls the Suez canal too.

This explains why the media have ignored this story.
Why obama has been quick to get rid of an ally.
Why the far left have been over there, getting money for there and are still there like code pink or Ayers being over there.
Might explain too why obama went to that city to give his speech, who did he meet and who did he talk to while over there?

ElBaradei soros stooge

The only consolation here is that the Muslim Brotherhood is using him as cover to get into power. Once in, he will likely have a convenient accident after 6 months or so. In other words, it will be his final “gig” as a stooge.
