The matter is serious enough to merit Congressional hearings in Washington as well as parliamentary hearings in London. It is easy to see why the Obama team refused to allow the US Senate access to the negotiating documents for New START, as they would have sparked outrage on both sides of the Atlantic that would almost certainly have killed the Treaty.
The Telegraph report clearly contradicts repeated claims by the Obama negotiating team that no side deals were struck with their Russian counterparts.

It is a complete non-story. The UK has already revealed back in 1998 the number of Trident D5 that is pools from the US Trident inventory. This was revealed in the Strategic Defence Review. The number was 58. All the US is doing is supplying the serial numbers for these UK Tridents. This will enable the Russian inspectors inspecting the US Tridents on US soil to verify the exact numbers in the inventory.
The UK during 2010 unilaterally revealed along with France and the US the numbers of nuclear warheads. UK numbers are 160 nuclear warheads operational with a maximum not exceeding 225. All revealed in Parliament. The UK has also revealed the number of missiles and warheads that they would deploy on the subs as part of the deterrent. All very much public knowledge.
That he had anything to do with the HUAC has been spread far and wide by the left, whose grasp of history is just about non-existent. So don't feel bad. It's a very common mis-impression.
Michael Savage covered this in Friday’s show . Any other talk show host cover it yesterday ? I doubt it .

Knowing how many missiles the UK has is one thing , but knowing where they are at any given time is another . Obama went behind the back of the UK and gave the code #s /serial #s of every Trident missile we supply to the UK to Russia ! This is a significant development because even though Russia was told how many missiles the UK has Russia has not any way to verify this until now . It gives Russia another data point to gage the size of the UK arsenal . Point is Obama had no business giving the Russians this info w/o the UK’s knowledge .
IIRC, there were no photographers or reporters allowed when he signed the START treaty.
