My gut tells me that the incompetent nincomepoops in DC will wait until the last minute, THEN ask the Pentagon what to do

It’s ridiculous to claim that traditional religions exist in only 4 countries in Africa. I’m not sure who made the map or what they were peddling, but there are many millions of tribal peoples througout Southern Africa who have not adopted either Islam or Christianity.

I don’t think we’ll get our troops involved in this for several reasons. (Unless ALL holy hell breaks loose)

We ARE stretched very thin (we have friends going on their 5th and 6th tours- combat tours).

Then there’s the significant issue of cost. When we are in desperate, truly desperate need of CUTTING SPENDING a new war is not affordable. (Unless ALL holy hell breaks loose)

And finally- where, exactly would we go? Cairo? Saudi? Kuwait? Israel? The only possible exception would be to protect the Suez- but that doesn’t seem likely at this point.

I have Emailed my Congresscritter and Senate Dems for what good that will do. Congresscritter is DeFazio whose minions regularly ignore me at this point in time. I have also Emailed FOX and CNN. The latter might do more good if MSM think this story has legs the O staffers might fell pressure. I’m not hopeful.

Yes, Christian missionaries. But many real Christian missionaries understand that while some government may have declared itself “Christian” in the colonial era, out in the country there are many who have never heard the Gospels. Why a missionary group would fail to reflect this I do not know. There are still non-Islamic tribes in the north, as well, theough they are unlikely to want to talk about it much.
