Celebrity Journalist: I Never Spoke to Hawaii Gov About Obama Birth Certificate

A celebrity journalist now claims he misspoke when he said last week that Hawaii’s governor told him he was unable to find President Barack Obama’s original birth certificate after a search of state and hospital archives.

Mike Evans told FoxNews.com on Wednesday he was remorseful and embarrassed that he appeared to have given the impression that he had discussed the search for Obama’s birth certificate with Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie.

Evans, who says he has been a close friend of Abercrombie since the 1980s, appeared on Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week and said he’d been told by the governor himself that Obama’s birth certificate was nowhere to be found. Evans told KQRS on Jan. 20:

"Yesterday, talking to Neil's office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ..... there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii."

But that’s no longer Evans’ story.

“Only this I can you tell you is 100 percent fact: that Neil never told me there was no birth certificate,” Evans told Fox News. “I never talked to him.”

HONOLULU -- Gov. Neil Abercrombie's choice for Department of Health director, Dr. Neal Palafox, withdrew from the post on Wednesday.

In December, Abercrombie named Palafox to the position.

You can take this two ways. Palafox didn't need the head ache dealing with the issue of Obama's lack of a birth certificate. Or a more sinister view that Abercrommie wants a lackey to do his dirty work,...but we will see who takes the job.

We all know Obama is a fraud. The fact that he has spent over 2 million dollars trying to keep it hide his birth certificate tells you everything you need to know.

What’s even worse is the how silent the media and press are on this. Moreover, the way they cover up and defend the “Certificate of Live Birth” as if that is proof. The media and the press is NO LONGER independent. That includes Fox News. Look no further than the bombing in Moscow and how silent Fox News has been on this. No mention of Islam, Muslims, etc... Gee I wonder if it has anything to do with the Saudi Prince that has a 20% stake in the company????

The truth is that Barry/Barak is a world-class jerk. This whole episode is starting to remind me of when Clinton assembled his entire cabinet(perhaps for the one and only time) to trot them out and lie to the American people about his involvement with Monica for him.
IMHO, it was the beginning of the end for Clinton, as far as the impeachment. People were pretty willing to let Clinton try and save his own skin, but when he was openly forcing others to lie for him, it rose to a new level of unseemliness.
A lot of people are now trying to protect Barry/Barack over something that anyone with any common decency would have given willingly to the American public if he really wanted to be their leader, as opposed to someone above the law.
At least with Clinton's cabinet, they all owed their positions to him. With Barry/Barack, there are a lot of people who are being intimidated who don't really owe him anything.
As with Nixon, it is the cover-up that gets one in trouble.
