I am angry that any Republicans fell for the gimmick. Makes
THEM look weak. We don’t need that even when we know some of
them ARE weak!

There is still a problem somewhere. Every since FreeRepublic crashed back on Jan 5th, 6th, I have not been able to access my FreepMail, Pings nor my Preferences.
I would like to know how this can be fixed?

Unfortunately that’s not how the administration sees it and for now they have the reins.
Actually, I think the entire boy/girl/boy/girl seating thing backfired on Ozero.
I thought it would dilute our majority, and it did.
But it REALLY diluted Obama.
I have never seen such a tepid response from the house to a SOTU. The fellow looked weak. This calls for unity looked like a joke.
Glad to hear that. Didn’t watch the speech, just had Terry Moran of Nightline on in the background. He was positively tingling over the speech. It was so CIVIL! He dissed Paul Ryan and Michelle Bachmann as being way too negative in their responses to the kindly Obama, and they better watch that in this new era of CIVILITY. There should have been a barf alert at the beginning of Nightline...

It will take the pollsters a while to figure out what we
already know....he didn’t say anything. And nothing will change

No one liked the guy. He’s out of touch with the American people. He proposed new spending and new programs at a time when millions of Americans are out of work? This failed approach to government didn’t fix the economy over the last two years its been tried.
The establishment is screwed. And we’re supposed to be applaud when this guy calls for socialism? Get real - this was a Max Headroom show tonight!
It is the people that need to wake up.
