Don’t pick on Dick; he’s 78 years-old.

It is also possible that two or three conservatives will run and split the conservative vote, and you what happens then.

Yes, Lugar is an old RINO. I think his major support of START and the DREAM Act will make good commercials against him. I sent him my opposition of START and received a long letter from his office about its merits.

Yes he is running again. I received a petition to sign for Lugar to be on the primary ballot. I guess he has to have so many signatures. Perhaps it was simply a fund raiser as it had a donation portion with the petition.

Lugar should be the MAIN RINO tossed out of the Senate. This guy is the portrait of "bi-partisanship" and I put that in quotes because his idea of "bi-partisanship" is doing whatever the libs want him to do.
Come on INDIANA you guys are way less crazy then us in Illinois please toss this bum out and make him get a real job.

I don’t plan to vote for Lugar. State Senator Mike Delph is a possible opponent.

Hock a luggie, Lugar, you’re political toast if you live that long, you milktoast RINO eunch.
Once a good guy. Now just a joke.

Oh fer cryin' out loud.
There's a minimum age requirement to serve in The Senate, there should be a maximum age limit as well. 150 is simply too old.
Retire, Dick. Go out and enjoy the world you helped create.
Waaaaaaaaaaait a minute........

The most recent story I read about him on FR says he’s pushing to bring back the “assault weapon” ban. Puke. I’d hold my nose for Lugar over a DemonRat in the general if I had to, but no way would I support him in a primary. Lugar’s another poster child for term limits, and Indiana deserves far better than him.
He wouldn’t my top Republican Senate target in 2012, but that’s only because the vile Olympia Snowe is up for re-election. Maine just elected a tea party Governor. So much for the constant refrain that she’s “the best we can get in that state”.

As I mentioned before, don’t expect ME Gov. Paul LePage to help with defeating Olympia Snowe. He owes a personal debt of gratitude to Snowe’s deceased first husband, Peter Snowe, for helping him out in his early days (for which he’d never have gotten into politics otherwise), and hence won’t actively oppose her. Nothing to do with ideology here.
