He did retire.

But then the DemonRAT running for that seat was disqualified by scandal, and it looked like the Republican would win the seat. The DemonRAT party, in clear violation of the election rules, threw this warmed over fish into the fray, was able to get the ballots changed at the state’s expense, and the commie RAT was elected.

Rules don’t apply to DemonRATS.

The NJ courts decided that the right of the ppl to vote for their party candidate overruled the state constitution, iirc. right?

I knew that. See comment# 24. I forgot the year they pulled their trick with Torricelli. I assume he will retire after this term.

and don’t forget that the PRNJ has a Supreme Court that holds itself to be the preeminent expert on all things that involve the State and Federal Constitutions and found that all of this switcheroony was perfectly legal!!!
