,,,,united behind the belief that a change in leadership was necessary.

God bless Texas.

Romney, Huckabee, Gingrich et al are NOT who tea party supporters, conservatives and independents want on the ballot in 2012. Those names equate to the same-old, same-old unelectable (RINO) candidates. GOP leadership must be sharply attuned to the voters who spoke clearly in November of 2010. The aforementioned candidates may have some backing and plenty of campaign cash, but they ultimately detract from a true Constitutional candidate voters would actually (thankfully) put into the presidency.

The days of aligning voters to the party are over. The GOP will align to the times or not.

Sounds like the Texas delegation gets it.

The future of the republic is at stake. Flaccid, business as usual politics is what got them where they are. Bob Dole got them where they are. John McCain got them where they are. Reaching across the bipartisan aisle got them where they are.

I wonder if those at the top really noticed what happened over the last year. Funding dried up for the same old same old, and somehow, amazingly, the house was overwhelmingly regained. The clowns at the top saw to it that the senate was not.

Business as usual will be the GOP’s epitaph.

...and yet they re-install LIBERAL Strauss as Speaker (in the Texas House) - with a 101-49 vote margin over the Democrats. DAAAAAAAA.

Thanks Paleo Conservative.
RPT State Chairman Steve Munisteri announced that all three representatives for Texas to the Republican National Committee will vote in a bloc on the first ballot for former Michigan State Republican Chairman Saul Anuzis.

I’m no fan of Steele, but I’m a far lesser fan of politicians that vote like blind little sheep and in a bloc. My advice to politicians is to always vote your own ideals and beliefs using your own intellect, and forget how your peers vote. This is nothing to brag about imho.

Wow the RNC Chair election vote is tomorrow?

Hope the country clubbers get it right and put somebody in who doesn’t alienate contributors.

I don’t like Steele at all but I don’t think this guy is any better.

RNC Chairman Candidate Favors Net Neutrality

“As a staunch advocate for net neutrality, however, Anuzis rows against the tide established by the majority of his party. (It should be noted that on Nov. 2, all 95 Democrats who signed a pledge supporting net neutrality lost their respective elections throughout the country.)”

I have much respect and admiration for Mr. Steele, and for all his accomplishments. But, we need a new leader. He should step aside gracefully. But, he won’t. So thank you Texas for taking this step. Now, if other states will simply get on board, then follow suit. Who knows? We might get a true conservative, with Tea Party like values.

Now, that would rock our world.

National Committeman Bill Crocker also stated: "Saul understands that the obligations of the RNC Chairman are to make sure the organization operates well, raise money and control the message of the RNC, in that order of priority.

Odd. Cause I just assumed that if the message was controlled right, (conservatism always wins), that the money would take care of itself, thus allowing the organization to run right.

Saul Anuzis, former chair of the Michigan Republican Party, has aggressively championed the National Popular Vote movement. If you don’t know what that is, count your blessings. The National Popular Vote movement is a frontal assault on one of the most important parts of the Constitution — the method we use to elect the president.

Soros and his son Johnny are bankrolling the national popular vote attack on the Constitution.

http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/a-candidate-for-rnc-chair-and-his-anti-constitutional-ideas/

George Soros supports the National Popular Vote Movement. Enough said.

A vote for Saul is a vote for George Soros to run the RNC.
