President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will be in Tucson Wednesday to attend the "Together We Thrive: Tucson and America" event at the McKale Memorial Center on the University of Arizona campus. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. MST (8 p.m. EST) with doors opening at 4 p.m. MST (6 p.m. EST).

According to a university news release, organizers are expecting thousands of people to attend. If the 14,000-seat arena reaches capacity, overflow seating will be available at the university's football stadium. Video of the memorial will be shown on the scoreboard's big screen.

I probably shouldn’t put much stock in an AP “poll” but the state run “media” is reporting that the “comeback kid” is making a “comeback”.

This is nothing but politics for him and his merry band of lowlifes.

He had his stormtroopers do the dirty work...while he appears to take the high ground. The party of hollywood(bullsh t/use the masses)does that sort of thing.

For him to appear unbiased, after his own rhetoric, he'd have to say the Pima sheriff "acted stupidly"....anything else and it's simply staged political fluff, and not worth the teleprompter it's written on.

Dear God...to me this is expoitation at its worst. All those speakers? Obama and Brewer should be the only ones to speak. This is going to turn into a very well defined POLITICAL AFFAIR. If this was my child I would have said no publicity. I would have buried her privately with only family and a few close, trusted friends and no one...and I mean no one from Washington, DC. To me there would have been no other way. God forgive these people for all their photo ops. Rest in peace to all the victims of this deranged killer and wishes for good health to all who were injured.
