Sheriff Dupnik keeps shooting himself in the foot, if you’ll excuse the irresponsibly...
Daily Caller ^ | 1/12/11 | Jim Treacher

If someone you loved was murdered in broad daylight by a raving lunatic, how would you want your local law enforcement to proceed? The list of expectations might go something like this:

Sheriff Dupnik doesn’t seem like a very good law enforcement officer. Or person. Every day we’re finding out more and more about his ineptitude. Sheriff’s deputies paid repeated visits to the Loughner home. The killer had made previous death threats, and Dupnik knew about them. The killer’s classmates and teachers were terrified of him. He was throwing off lone-gunman vibes everywhere he went. And yet he was able to buy a gun and ammunition. How did all that happen right under Dupnik’s nose? How did somebody that screwed up fall through the cracks? Are we supposed to believe Sarah Palin is the one who missed all that? Did Glenn Beck somehow prevent Dupnik from doing his job? Was he too busy worrying about Bill O’Reilly?

And what’s the prosecutor supposed to do with this case, now that this bumbling idiot Dupnik has crapped all over it?

Well, he’s good enough for the Commander in Chief:

In a phone call this afternoon with Sheriff Dupnik, according to White House spokesman Nicholas Shapiro, the President “thanked him for his department’s efforts to respond to this incident and coordinate with the FBI and Director Mueller on the investigation.”

It’s true, Dupnik responded much the way Obama would if he could: find some scapegoats among one’s political enemies, blame them for everything to deflect attention from your own ineptitude, and repeat as often as possible.

I think Pima County is going to see a surge of newcomers who move there strictly to vote in the next election for sheriff. I’d say something about hoping Dupnik goes down in a hail of ballots, but we all know how literal-minded our friends on the left become when it suits them.

P.S. A friend of the killer speaks: “He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio. He didn’t take sides. He wasn’t on the left. He wasn’t on the right.” Which matters only if you’re interested in the facts.

This Dupnik is a brazen idiot. But what I’m wondering is when will the Left take the next step? When will they manufacture a Reichstag incident?
Leftist media commentators have openly lusted for an OKC event to boost zero’s stature and elections chances. The random acts of violence have failed to yield a TP member, a conservative or a Republican perpetrator despite all the Leftist media’s attempts to conceal and distort the facts.
So if the Left is willing to lie and distort actual events, why would it be a reach for them to create an artificial event that would advance their political goals?

He is trying to incite the left by pretending to complain about the right. He is the problem he exposes.

Psychological projection is the phenomenon whereby one projects one's own thoughts, motivations, desires, feelings, and so on onto someone else.
An illustration would be an individual who feels dislike for another person, but whose unconscious mind does not allow them to become aware of this negative emotion. Instead of admitting to themselves that they feel dislike for someone, they project their dislike onto him, so that the individual's conscious thought is not "I don't like Bob," but "Bob doesn't seem to like me or I do not like that certain behavior that Bob does."

Sheriff Dupnik doesn’t seem like a very good law enforcement officer......we’re finding out more and more about his ineptitude. How did all this happen right under Dupnik’s nose?

>>His own deputies paid repeated visits to the Loughner home. >> The killer had made previous death threats, and Dupnik knew about them---he admitted it to Fox News' Megyn Kelly. >> The shooter's classmates and teachers were terrified of him. >> He was throwing off lone-gunman vibes everywhere he went. >> And yet he was able to buy a gun and ammunition.

Dupnik is the plusperfect example of a sap-happy liberal who ignores our laws to advance his cockamamie lefty agenda.

People Like Ohaha and Dupnik are a clear threat to US national security......they have no compunction about undermining our constitutional freedoms.

THE STORY THIS FAR Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik was beatified as a courageous law enforcement officer-----personally congratulated by our president----- b/c Dupnik blamed Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and the Tea Party for the Tuscon shootings.

Now it's been revealed the shooter had made previous death threats that were reported to DUPNIK's office----BUT DUPNIK DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. News reports say at least five other calls about Loughner were made to Pima County L/E BEFORE the shootings.

Was there any pressure not to prosecute? What personal/political relationship does Pima County Sheriff Dupnik have with the suspect’s mother? Loughner’s mother works for the Pima County Board of Supervisors.

Wadda ya wanna bet-----any day now Ohaha will be eating his words.

Dupnik and is now under investigation by Internal Affairs. The FBI needs to nail him, as well.

It’s sure starting to seem like ole Sheriff Dupe-nik is a good example of why people “hate” government so much.

He keeps doing things he’s not paid to do, and he won’t do the things he is paid to do.

O.K., I’m not going to defend Sheriff Dupnik here; but, I am going to defend his deputies. I would imagine that the sheriff of a community the size of Tucson would have never heard of Loughner. Sorry, that is a simple fact. Do I detest Dupnik’s attitude following this incident. Absolutely, I do. I also know that the deputies in the county that had contact with this guy are not psychiatrists; nor should anyone expect them to be. Everything I read about this psycho does not raise any red flags to me that there was any failed prosecution here. In hindsight Pima County looks like a collection of Keystone cops; however, I would venture to guess that each incident ended without violence and in a large community like this if it ends peacefully resources have better use elsewhere. So, by all means fault this guy for his history of stupid statements; but, please, lets not act as if our Sherlock Holmes hindsight would have somehow gotten this guy sent to the federal pen for 136 years prior to this shooting. In a city like Tuscon no one is going to prison for yelling, no matter how scary they look.

Dupnik is a senile old fool who brags about having been a cop for 50 years. He’s a leftist partisan who doesn’t enforce laws he doesn’t like. If Pima county had a responsible county commission, he would be thrown out of office just for his incompetence, let alone his idiotic political statements made about an ongoing investigation. The Pima county DA needs to tell this old fool to STFU.

Sheriff Dupnik, you are a sick example of law enforcement! Law Enforcement is black and white — it’s about gathering facts. Your stupid pandering to liberal causes and such nonsense puts you on the same level of these bottom feeding leeches. I hope I never venture into your jurisdiction because I will have left the protection of the U.S. Constitution and placed myself under the jurisdiction of Dupnikville!

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

As long as Deputy Dupenuts has taken it on himself to turn this into a political assault on conservatives, he needs to get what he is giving. He is equally as responsible for what happened, even more so, than anyone else he is casting aspersions towards. Remember that it is Dupenuts who has chosen to depart from the realm of reality and reason. If we can help bring about the end of Dupenuts’s career, we will have done a great service to the citizens of Pima County and to his deputies.

This truly is a cop who acted stupidly and continues to do so. I hope he pays a severe price.

In a city like Tuscon no one is going to prison for yelling, no matter how scary they look.

He was suspended from the community college because he was whacked. The COUNTY RUN college told him not to come back until he agreed to tone down his antics AND had a signed clean bill of mental health. The college said it used a couple of cops to deliver this letter to his house.

Then we have Dumbass Dupnik himself saying that Loughner was on the PCSO radar for making death threats. Death threats that I'm assuming were targeting public officials.

Multiple public officials in Pima county had numerous chances to get Loughner involuntarily committed for evaluation. No one bothered to do so.
