If I recall correctly from O'Reilly last night, the (alleged) perp's mother is a county govt supervisory level type; and, the (again alleged) perp has a loooong history of arrests but miraculously no rap sheet.
(Thus the suspicion of potential intervention at the Sheriff's level. Someone will doubtlessly ask the question, was there any...ahem... quid pro quo? And one supposes that it needs to be asked and answered.)

Yup. Conservatives are always held to a double standard. When a Conservative fails in a moral way...boy do the wolves come out. The left sits on a very high horse...and they are only looking down, not at themselves.
I believe between his running off of his mouth and the fact that this could have been prevented had he not neglected to do his job will bite him in the azz by a really sharp lawyer one day real soon...

Dupnik’s age is not an issue.
Every once in awhile we see this... Bull Connor was more democratic party precinct captain and dem party spokesman than he was a “law enforcement” official. While I don’t know if he was an actual Klan member, he certainly represented them better than he did the people of his district.
Dopenik is the same thing.

He’s been very unprofessional, and he might have compromised the investigation and/or prosecution with his statements.

We had a sheriff who was alright - nothing special but at least not an embarrassment like Dumbnik. His claim to fame was his capture of “The Green River Murderer” (well not really but he claims the title). He went on to become a disappointing congressman.
We elected a politically correct female to replace him. Spends most of her time looking in mirrors and wondering “Does this uniform make my butt look big?”. Her chief qualification? She knows what to say to the predominantly leftist electorate. She probably has a job for life.
Age alone shouldn’t be a sole determinant of suitability. Nor should glibness - just look to Øbongo to see the consequences of that.
I would hope that Arpaio is grooming someone to carry on the tradition since he won’t live forever.
I also hope that the good people of Pima County see this fraud Dumbnik for the hack that he is and kick him to the curb.
The old hack is digging his hole deeper and deeper, and every spadeful is loaded with gold nuggets we can use against the enemy.

Never mind on the link. I googled it and there was an article. They said he was stopped at 6:30am. IIRC, he went to a Wal-mart to buy ammo sometime that morning also, but left in the middle of the purchase. Also IIRC, the cab driver dropped him off at 10:01am. The rampage started at 10:11.
I wonder what time he was at Wal-mart. I wonder when he called the cab.
