Good morning, Grilled Cheese...((HUGS))...we got cold again, and no new snow.
Glad your friends decided not to push their luck trying to get home
and that the beachy homestead was a safe refuge.
Happy Wednesday!!

((HUGS)) Ma.
Happy Wednesday
I'm surprised you don't have a heat wave going on.
Looks like all the cold weather is being pushed south.
I'm glad that she decided to come by instead of risking going home on bad roads.

I tried to go into work..
I turned the car around, came back home..
Called them and told them to forget it!
Blizzard conditions, complete white outs, and the plows cannot keep up with it.
I’ll probably get written up for it, but it ain’t worth getting hurt or killed for.

Btw, do you actually play the bagpipes? Since 1982. Not playing currently due to way too much travel.

No job is worth risking life and limb for, Ms. B.
Good choice.
Stay warm!

Thanks, Jinxy!
It’s prolly a good thing I didn’t go, in more ways than one.
The furnace is out..
Mr B is not here, (his work is only 3 miles away)
So, I had to fire up the stove to keep the house warm!

Thank goodness you have the wood stove.
Is the wood-box full?

Wise decision, ms b....better written up than hurt or killed. They are stupid if they demand anyone risk their lives to get there. ((HUGS))

Southeastern Mass.
Just got power back, been off since 8 am in a blizzard with gale force winds.
First thing I cleared the bird feeders, and head for the motorhome.
Have 14” on the back deck which is usually several inches less than we get but I'm not going out into the middle of the backyard just now.

Glad you checked in, Lady J.
Gale force winds here too, but power ok so far.
I did not drive to work today..
Couldn’t see in the white out conditions.
We have a bout a foot here so far.

I wish I could hear you play. Did you have a teacher or were you self taught? How hard was it to learn to play them? I would love to buy some bagpipes some time but am not sure how hard they are to learn to play and what types are better than others.
To: Lady Jag
We got this powdery gunk that flowed like confectioner sugar when you shoveled it.
