The Left does some truly despicable things in this world, but this is a new low for Democrats.
Former three-time Democrat gubernatorial candidate Fred Phelps Jr. (commonly called just Fred Phelps) and his Westboro Hate Group have announced plans to disrupt the funeral of 9 year-old shooting victim Christina Greene.
Christina was murdered by Jared Lee Loughner yesterday in his assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The little girl was born on September 11th, 2001, so her parents have been cursed with a horrific trifecta of high profile trauma: their daughter born on the worst day in our generations lives, their daughter murdered in an assassination attempt on a member of Congress, and Democrat Fred Phelps aiming his hate machine at their family during their daughters funeral.

Shesh!
This man is clearly insane. I suspect that some day his crazy words will lead him to some crazy action.
Yeah, don’t get too het up about this. Half of Phelps plan is just to get local LE in a tizz...and then he never shows up. Happened to us, all cops were called in and in attendance, the supposed “church” people never showed up.
Why isn’t Hillsboro Baptist Church listed as a terrorist organization?
Send him the bill for the overtime and make him pay it.
Patriot Riders need to take two-by-fours with ‘em this time..
At every funeral he goes to, celebrating the death of peoples children, i feel almost sure that someone will pull out a pistol and do a repeat of yesterday. Someone, someday, feeling like they have nothing to live for after the death of their kid,,,,
I think the patriot riders have actually saved Phelps life so far. I’d bet a paycheck that some bereaved relative initally had the thought, but then saw that someone else cared about them, and was protecting them, and let it go,,,
But Phelps is playing with fire.
I would not mourn if God saw fit to summon this so called man-of-the-cloth home...
I wonder how director Kevin Smith is going to spin this one.
Already he has Phelps as a right wing nut, his movie based on Phelps is set to come to theaters this year. “Red State”
http://red-state.movie-trailer.com/
He might want to re-name it ‘Blue State’ or ‘Opportunistic State’
People need to know who Phelps really is
Is there a worse group than this bunch of sub-humans? If there isn’t a special place in hell for them, someone needs to set one up.
What is needed is a good old-fationed BLOCKADE of these cockroaches. Set up a 10 block perimeter.
Fred may have gone too far this time. If he demonstrates as this innocent’s funeral, someone is going to find him and righteously beat the $*** out of him and his people.
You know, I’ve never been much to piss on someone’s grave, but when he croaks, I’m going to wheel down a keg and start chuggin. Anyone else with me?
Nahhh, I vowed I’d never stand in that long a line again.
This is low even for Fred Phelps & Company.
I suspect that the motorcycle riders will show up & block Fred & his nutbags from getting anywhere near the funeral.
I don’t think God will summon him to the place he would think home would be. These are not the actions of a Christian. He uses God’s name to do horrible things, and blatantly disregards the bible.
Hell would be an apt word I would use to describe where he is going unless he truly repents and opens a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
These guys truly disgust me. Even if they don’t show up, just threatening to must put the family under so much stress, it’s heartwrenching to see this family deal with the death of a child, let alone this piled on top.
Its mind boggling how ^%$#ed up these people are.
Several years ago I went to a funeral in Lubbock for the second son of a family who had died overseas (one in Afghanistan and one in Iraq). I did not know the solider but went out of respect after hearing about Phelps attending. The Phelps’ idiots picketed the funeral but the Patriot Guard motorcycle group effectively separated them.
I must admit it was one of the most moving experience I have ever attended, especially when all veterans were asked to raise their hands and then requested to form a honor line by the casket. We were called to attention and gave a hand salute while taps was played. I was behind the coffin in front of the widow who was crying. Very hard to keep my emotions in check. When we left the church, we passed under an honor guard with the motorcyclists and others holding American flags.
