I suspect that the motorcycle riders will show up & block Fred & his nutbags from getting anywhere near the funeral.

Several years ago I went to a funeral in Lubbock for the second son of a family who had died overseas (one in Afghanistan and one in Iraq). I did not know the solider but went out of respect after hearing about Phelps attending. The Phelps’ idiots picketed the funeral but the Patriot Guard motorcycle group effectively separated them.

I must admit it was one of the most moving experience I have ever attended, especially when all veterans were asked to raise their hands and then requested to form a honor line by the casket. We were called to attention and gave a hand salute while taps was played. I was behind the coffin in front of the widow who was crying. Very hard to keep my emotions in check. When we left the church, we passed under an honor guard with the motorcyclists and others holding American flags.
