Huckabee Gaining Strength In New 2012 Poll

(NewsCore) - Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has the support of more Republicans around the country than three of his potential 2012 rivals, according to a new CNN poll released Tuesday.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll found that 67 percent of self-identified Republicans were either “very likely” or “somewhat likely” to support his candidacy in 2012.

That compared with 59 percent for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, 54 percent for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and 49 percent for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

It is the second recent poll to show momentum for Huckabee. A Public Policy Polling survey taken just before Christmas showed the former Arkansas governor overtaking Romney in the pivotal state of Florida.

“But it’s like fighting over being shot or stabbed to death.”

Mittens = RomneyCare = ObamaCare, which is the worst IMO.

msm is trying to push this guy to the top just like they did Mccain. He needs to just go away. Him and Newt and Romney really just need to be quiet until it is time to support real conservatives. That is what they need to do.

Mitt is most definitely a pathological liar. Huck may be a liar, but he’s no where near Mitt’s league. Mitt has raised lying to an art form. He lies when telling the truth would better serve him. He even convinces people around him to spread his lies. He has the ability to look you square in the face and tell you a different lie from the one he told to the person standing right next to you, if he believes that is what he has to do to get your support.

How do keep them from picking the candidate they want to run against this time around the way they picked McCain?

Sarah doesn't make records of that type.. She does sell millions of books, though, and attracks large crowds when she speaks! She also has millions of admirers and supporters. You guy has 11 plus you...

Thanks for another opportunity!

That’s the book in which she refudiated her previous libtard cheerleading for TARP, Amnesty, and LOST, right? Oh wait, nevermind.

The only candidate to "support life?"

Poppycock.

I was thinking about the Huckabee family portrait. With a good stylist, the problems in that picture could have easily been fixed. First off, the clothing choices could have been better. Next, the posture needs to improve. The fact that his sons aren’t thin doesn’t really come into play that much if you dress them right and get them to stand up straight. The photo just looks so amateurish—that’s the problem, not so much the participants.

It’s kind of like being in the music studio. Britney Spears doesn’t have much of a voice IMO—you just need a producer who knows how to handle that. A good producer can make anyone sound good nowadays. :)

"Exactly right - Hucks power comes from the Christians... He is the ONLY candidate to fully support Life... If one wants to derail Huckleberry, get behind a candidate the Christians can stand."

...the ONLY candidate to fully support life?? Did Huck refuse to have an abortion of a known defective child??

I see no evidence that Palin's Christianity is any less than the Huck's, and she lives it better. I wouldn't trust the Huck to smell my f*rts.
