THERE is a God! It passed! The Bush tax cuts have been extended two years for the upper bracketeers, of which I am a proud member, thank you very much. I’m the last person in the world I’d want to be beside, but I am beside myself! This is a life changer, I tell you. A life changer!
To begin with, I was planning a trip to Cabo with my kids for Christmas vacation. We were going to fly coach, but now with the money I’m saving in taxes, I’m going to splurge and bump myself up to first class. First class! Somebody told me they serve warm nuts up there, and call you “mister.” I might not get off the plane!
I’m also going to call the hotel and get another room so I don’t have to sleep on a cot in the kids’ room. Don’t get me wrong — I love a good cot. The problem is they tend to take up a lot of room, and it’s getting a little tougher in my advancing years to fold it up and drag it to the closet. I mean, I’d do it if I had to, but guess what? I don’t! Not with this windfall coming my way. Now I get to have my own room with a king-sized bed. And who knows, maybe I’ll even get some fancy bottled water from the minibar. This is shaping up to be the best vacation I’ve had in years.

Well, Larry David, instead of being a horses patooty, why don’t you write an article asking people to nominate a family who REALLY deserves vacation or trip home?
You could spend your saved tax dollars for that, instead of showing your arse.

The 35% would look like a tax increase then. Just wait until this tax rate expires. It’s going up to 43.6% on the ‘wealthy’.
By my calculation, Larry David's income is likely $1.25 million per month, assuming a 5% rate of return on the money he has in the bank.

Alhough he claims to be all about compassion for the less well off the first thing he thinks of to do with his extra money is spend it on himself. We know all about your kind Larry. They talk it but never walk it.

I made the mistake of watching that horrid Woody Allen movie that Larry starred in last year. I had no idea who he was until then. His annoying arrogant liberal stridency is so awful that he even outdoes that other loud-mouthed moron Sam Waterston. He’d make a good partner for that other Hollywood idiot, Cameron Diaz. Have James Cameron make their next movie and you’d have the Total Trifecta of Hateful Liberal Lunacy.
Well Barney says his heirs don’t deserve half his money when he dies since they didn’t earn it.
I wonder if he files a 1040EZ. I KNOW he doesn’t.
I guess we should feel guilty you are splurging on upgraded vacation luxuries instead of donating a chunk of your excess wealth to the miserable souls dying of cholera in Haiti, to do mitvahs with your temple or Synagogue, to the Red Cross, the SPCA or any other number of deserving causes.
But we do need our jobs at the airlines, resorts, limo services, and restaurants etc, to support our families.
So Mr David, Thank You! For flying first class and helping the airline profits, for upgrading to two rooms and keeping a maid employed, and for everything you will spend on. And Merry Christmas from the little people who will wait on you and your family during your vacation.
Dear Larry David - Don’t want to keep more of your own money? No problem! Just give it to whomever you want! It’s called “charity”, and it works pretty doggone well. Just find some well-deserving individual who needs help, and give the money to them! Problem solved.

No one is stopping Larry David from paying what his taxes were after the Clinton tax increases.
He can even pay more if he wants, the U.S. Treasury will accept all the money he wants to pay them.
Does he really not know this?
Two questions for Larry:
1. Do you have an accountant?
2. If so, Why?
(If you do, fire him and just pay 50% off the top.)
$20k a month is chump change for this guy. He's worth over $350 Million!
Larry is a smarmy fool. If he thinks slaving for his government masters is a good thing, he’s perfectly welcome to write them a check.
