After basically evading reporters all day, the Massachusetts Republican recently announced that he will support the arms reduction treaty. Brown told reporters following a closed-session intelligence briefing that he had given the issue due diligence and hoped see the treaty ratified. I believe its something thats important for our country, and I believe its a good move forward to deal with our national security issues, he said.
A cloture vote is expected on Tuesday.
Cry baby Boehner and two-faced McConnell with no cajones! Meanwhile, we have real men and women dying in Iraq and Afganistan and for what?
There wasn't a conservative running against Scott Brown, as far as I recall. I think that most of us were wowed by the fact that a Republican was running at all - even more so, that he actually stood a chance of winning the "Kennedy seat".

Of course he did.
Welcome to Obamaland.
If they can’t get it through Congress, they’ll just take it by fiat (see Net Neutrality).
Who’s going to stop them?
Thanks. That’s the way I remember it but some posters here seem to imply there was a choice at the time - as if they supported the wrong candidate.
Folks, look at this as an opportunity: the need to thoroughly vett anyone who pretends to be a conservative. Scott Brown has been a disappointment: we end up CELEBRATING when he votes like a Republican.
That should not be the case. We should stop putting our hopes in ungodly men who tickle our itching ears.
I plead guilty: I sent this guy money...so I am NOT saying to anyone else what I am not also saying to MYSELF.
You are making an assumption which is largely incorrect as far as any conservatives are concerned. Many people gave money and voted for him rather than have a woman to the far left of Ted Kennedy get in.
There wasn’t a lot of choice. I voted for him and gave money to him, but he has since lived down to my worst expectations. So I can say now that I tried that (the traditional political process) and it didn’t work. Now, I will work for the total political Götterdämmerung of the state. I may even vote for someone as liberal as Martha Coakley to bring it about.
I’m with you on this.
Back on February 22 I posted this about Brown and sadly it’s panning out.
“Is Brown going to turn out to be a Dem plant?
Thinking back, the White House was not really that shaken when he won.
The Congress version of Justice Souter?
Hmmmm...”

“Hardly a surprise. Hes already a POS traitor for homosexualizing the military.”
Well, I guess that makes Amos a POS traitor for homosexualizing the military, also.
“Marine Corps chief: Ill lead the drive to integrate gay Marines”
POS homosexualizing traitors everywhere.
Off with his senatorial head! He has betrayed the trust of
the ones who put him there!
Two of a kind. Traitors!
Scott Brown’s appeal was his promise to stop obamacare by being the 41st vote, so when the evil, Marxist democrats did a run around the Senate through the House, Scott Brown usefulness eroded.
He’s been a typical Northeast RINO ever since.
Are we actually sure he would have even done that? For all we know he was just following Myth's advice to say whatever he needed to say to get elected.
What a Democrat in Republican clothing. This clown should go.

Here are the current highlights of the new START that the media and press will not tell the public.
1) Reduce our land based nuclear missiles by 1/3
2) Reduce 50% of our nuclear Bombers
3) Reduce 50% of our nuclear attack Submarines
4) We (USA) cannot retaliate with a nuclear strike to any Biological or Chemical attack on the United States. Iran is the only exception.
5) Russia can opt out any time they want, but we have to still abide by it.
Think this is what Obama wants in a world that is increasing every day of danger. We have China and Russia that are rebuilding their military, then you have North Korea, Iran and nuclear proliferation.
This treaty is insane. The fact that the congress is even debating and rushing this vote should clue anyone with no understanding that this is a bad deal.
