Troops who can't accept the idea of overturning the ban on gays in the military should consider leaving the service, says a senior aide to Gen. David Petraeus.
Command Sergeant Major Marvin Hill tells TV One's "Washington Watch" that he believes "the troops are ready" for the repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
"If there are people who cannot deal with the change, then they're going to have to do what's best for their troops and best for the organization and best for the military service and exit the military service, so that we can move forward -- if that's the way that we have to go," Hill says in an interview with Roland Martin, scheduled to air Sunday.
Hill says it will be up to military brass to "set the tone" for the rank-and-file in accepting gay service members.
"We know that if there is a change, that that change will have to be led, and it's going to have to be led by senior leaders such as myself and -- and others across the battlefield," Hill says.

BINGO!
“0bamas backdoor way of getting non 0bamanite out of the military and replacing them with those loyal to his brand of fascism.”
That is exactly what this is all about: Obamaligula wants to purge the military, particularly its officer corps, and replace them with his camp followers. He knows he can’t execute them as Stalin did, so he figures this tactic will do for now.
As I explain to people all the time, if you are walking along holding a little flag on a stick, the blue field faces the front, with the stripes dangling towards the back (unless the wind is coming from behind you). The little flag on the right shoulder has the blue field towards the front--so it is oriented the same way as the little flag on a stick.
The other question people used to ask is, "What does An Army of One mean?" Thank goodness we don't have that slogan any more; I never could answer that one.
Yes and then there will be no other option except the draft. Then lets see what happens when the homo side HAS to serve when they don’t want to. Careful what you wish for.
>>He enjoyed walking down the baracks naked, towel over shoulder, for display.<<
I would have given him a nosedive down the stairwell.
“I HATE what these bastards are doing to my country!”
You and me, both, friend.
“The US military must be the laughing stock of the worlds military.”
In effect, through this ridiculous social experiment, the administration (if you can call it that) has given our enemies even more reason and motivatation to fight against what they no doubt perceive as degenerate infidels.
aka Obambi spokesman...
Rustys’ a good man.
“Hard to believe a Command Sargeant Major said this...”
I betcha we know who he voted for.
Uh, no. I guess that means the generals who just testified that gays in the military would be disruptive need to pack it up because this fool says so.

Maybe an stupid question but why doesn't Hill have a Combat Infantryman's Badge rather than a Combat Action Badge?
So it is symbolic of walking forward instead of being displayed correctly?
Okay... kind of stupid... but, okay
REMF
It really doesn’t matter what Petraeus and what Sgt Major Rufus says. This current US Senate is not going to repeal it and the new one certainly will not. You are all ranting and wasting bandwidth for nothing:

“Go to the link and take a look at the photo. Youll see why this CSM is an Obama worshipper.”
Roger that. My thoughts exactly.
All decent men WILL leave. I’ve had reverence all my life for the military, but I now see a point in the near future where I really won’t have any respect for anyone wearing the uniform.

Ah, yes. I see what you mean.
