Samaritans Purse President Franklin Graham returned to Haiti today to survey our work with cholera patients, hand deliver Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts to hurting children, visit shelter communities we built in the aftermath of the January earthquake, tour our rubble removal activities, and debrief with staff on water, sanitation, shelter, targeted feeding, training programs, and 2011 needs.
Samaritans Purse teams have been working in Haiti since the country was devastated by a deadly earthquake in January. Still struggling to recover from the quake, the Haitian people have more recently suffered from the growing cholera epidemic that has already claimed more than 2,000 lives and from the hurricane that pummeled the island nation in November.
I don't know of any people in recent years who have suffered more, and in such a short period of time than the people of this small countrywith an earthquake, a hurricane, and now a cholera epidemic, Graham said.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is accompanying Graham on the trip.
"I am pleased that Gov. Palin will accompany us on a brief trip to Haiti this weekend, and I appreciate her willingness to visit Haiti during such troubled times, Graham said. I believe Gov. Palin will be a great encouragement to the people of Haiti and to the organizations, both government and private, working so hard to provide desperately needed relief."

I'm glad you support a charity that helps Haiti. But I know from experience that what they need is medicines and water purification tablets. These things save lives.
Sarah. Todd, Bristol weigh what combined? Four hundred fifty pounds? That's tens of thousands of water purification tablets. It's hundreds of tarps. It's thousands of bottles of medicines. It's thousands of tubes of monistat (which is a top three need). It's tens of thousands of anti-malarial pills.
Those are the things that are needed. Those are the things that save lives. Pictures of Palin or sean Penn accomplish nothing but publicity.

In the Bible there is the story of the sanctimonious twit who criticized the woman for using expensive oils to annoint the feet of the Christ. Used the same schtick--"That oil could have been sold and the proceeds given to the poor." Jesus rebuked the sanctimonious twit.

Pictures of Palin or sean Penn accomplish nothing but publicity. The Palin's didn't send pictures of themselves to those Haitians, they went there in person to show their support for them, of course people with PDS don't understand that.

‘She is almost always smiling’
Governor Palin has that sparkle and smile that Mr. Reagan had.
A positive activist, she can lead us out of this madness.
