Gargantua, I do believe that you have finally put a 100% full stop to all the arguments about Sarah Palin vs All The Rest for 2012.
That is the simplest, most direct, and true statement regarding this race that I've yet seen. It totally cuts through all of the clutter, and lays the very heart of the issue bare for all to see.
I'm afraid there is no arguing with that simple statement. It will be Sarah, or we're finished.
You gave me examples that were in the past, not current examples.
He does the same thing to me all the time in these arguments. He will regurgitate every remark that Sarah ever made on McCain's behalf (as his running mate), and try to convince the unwitting that those are her current personal positions.
He's hopelessly worshiping at the 1% alter. It's a religious thing with him. I don't think any of us will ever change his mind.
Notice, too, how easily he throws out slanders like "liar" and "half-wit" to describe a fearless conservative leader who is head and shoulders above most politicians of the modern era.
Look up PDS in the dictionary, and I'm sure you'll see his face right next to the definition.
