Think of King David - an adulterer AND a murderer.

And God called him a man after his own heart.

Grace is available for everyone for the asking.

(key word - asking)

My prayers are with your husband and you.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last month. If it's any help when I was told my mind went blank and all I could do was cry. After the tears I felt this deep sense of peace. I knew it was going to be okay. I not only knew it I felt it. I had my surgery on November 19th and as soon as I woke up I knew it was gone, all gone. I had my surgery follow up on November 30th and was told the pathology report said they did get it all, but I already knew that. I will start radiation therapy some time this month which will last for 7 weeks, 5 days a week. Then 5 years of a pill I'll have to take daily. Not sure what it is as my doctor said we'll get to that step after the radiation. I know I'll be okay as God has already shown me things I needed to know. The first one was I'm 63 and had my very first mammogram when my cancer was caught. Also, I have no health insurance but I know God is watching over me and I know he'll be with me every step of my recovery.

My best suggestion is for your husband and you to find a support group in your area or call the American Cancer Society. I received some great information from a breast cancer group called Network of Strength. They sent me a wonderful booklet called “After Diagnosis” a guide for patients and families. It's from the American Cancer Society and answered a lot of the questions I had as to how I should deal with “all of it”.

If I can be of any help or support please let me know. In the mean time my prayers will be with the both of you and your family.

Thank you all for the encourage and prayers. I read everybody's posts to me and I am overwhelmed.I wish tha I could answer you all personally but ther were so many.

So far as we know now, the treatment is going to be very tough on him. It consists of surgery to remove hundreds of lymph nodes in the neck, chemo and radiation.

We are great together as a couple. We are very close and there is nothing that we can't get through as long as it's me and him.

But quietly, to my self, I am terrified and my heart is breaking to think of what he is about to go through; knowing that I can't make it OK.

I tended to like her compared to the other political wives of Democrats.

This is sad news....I hope it wasn’t too horrible at the end...RIP.

If the pill you will have to take for five years is Tamoxifen, I suggest you read up on it very closely. My wife, a breast cancer survivor for 15 years now, had to take Tamoxifen for the first five years of her remission. There are some potentially bad side effects you should be aware of. Basically, it screwed her up physically, emotionally, and mentally.

I’m sure that no one here agrees with anything she believed politically, but I will always hold her in esteem for standing up to the DUmmies. RIP, EE.

“that happened a lot faster than I thought it would...”

Doctors almost always overestimate the amount of time remaining for a terminal patient. I believe that the patient lets go soon after accepting the outcome, and won’t hold on for long unless there is unfinished business or a significant date within reach.

To me this is a sign that she found peace and was ready to leave this world. I pray her family is comforted with having these last few weeks out of the media spotlight to be together, and that the media leaves them to their memories of her.

God rest her soul.
Too bad she only heard the bad things that were said.

” No doubt her hubby’s infidelity played hell on her mind while she was dealing with the cancer. Ol’ Silky Pony Johnny Ed needs to do some serious soul-searching himself.”

God won’t be so kind to hubby.

May God bless Elizabeth Edwards and her family, especially her children. 61 is way too young to die and cancer is such a terrible disease. Elizabeth is hopefully with God and her deceased son now....

Good points... everything around us in this world is temporary. I hope she knew The Lord but I also hope that her husband thinks long and hard about the transient nature of this place and our lives and what’s going to count for something in the end.

Condolences to the family of Mrs. Edwards.
You can just imagine her death gives that whore John the go ahead to publicly admit he’s going to go after another whore.

There’s always the distinct possibility that he doesn’t believe it, and just doesn’t give a sh*t too...otherwise, why would he act the way he did (does)?

That’s what makes some of these Pols so dangerous. They don’t believe there’s any higher power than themselves. That’s why you get your Hitlers, Stalins, Maos, Pol Pots, etc., over time, and the horrendous body counts they caused.

If God is not in the picture, ANYTHING is permissible - including mass murder.

(Not comparing Silky Pony Edwards to these monsters - but you know what I mean...)

Be4cause he learned at an early age that he looks like a choirboy, and he has been CONNING everyone with it ever since. Look at his class action suits....all of them spurious!

Double bump that, Phil.

Bless her children’s hearts for real. I feel so badly for them.

Well, hopefully, his political career is over. Cheating on your wife, when she has cancer (even though she tried to use it for political gain) never sits well with folks.

He showed his true colors - reptile green.
