Survey results say that up to 24% of troops will not stay. Since those most opposed are the combat arms, if 10% walked, that would mean that 250,000 troops leave, that is more than the entire Marine Corps!
What is so disgusting is that Gates in retiring and Mullins will serve out his term and be done as well. Both will walk away never having to face the consequences of their actions!!!
That will justify the draft.
The draft is a leftist’s wet dream.
It reduces the effectiveness of the military. Check.
It forces “the rich” to serve. (not really, but) Check.
It causes the electorate to be reluctant about using military force in America’s interests. Check.
And the #1 reason the left loves the draft:
It makes something that formerly was voluntary, compulsory.

lol. we are not that big. We have a total of 1.44 million in the armed services together. They want to make the Air Force and Navy smaller that what it is today and this is a great way for them to get folks out of the service without paying them severance pay. The way it is today, they are giving a lot of money to folks who are being told to go home and they are getting money to leave. With this process, people will volunteer to leave and the military will not have to pay them. They are not stupid!
When, after all this is implemented, our country falls into the hands of the true Communists and other assorted thugs they will face those consequences when the thugs come after them first.
Draft, draft, draft...If there was any justice only those that support the repeal of DADT would be drafted or have their kids drafted.
