AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

The problem with people like Duncan Hunter and Pence, and most Representatives, is that they typically do really well in their districts, however, for some reason, are rarely ever able expand their success into larger areas.

I bet Pence makes a run for Gov of Indiana in 2012.

I grew up on a farm. Pets were expendable, no vet bills for them. Livestock took priority.

He may. It’s just rare for a Representative to successfully run for President. I believe, (and I could be wrong) that only James Garfield has done so.

If Pence has presidential aspirations, doing a good job as governor would be a good first step. He needs to prove he can administrate.

My vet bills would probably shock most “farmers”, but I view all living creatures as sacred. I’m not opposed to hunting, I eat meat, wear leather, etc.; however, I do not unnecessarily kill anything. We have no kill mouse traps, and I catch the spiders and take them outside. But, I do not expect everyone or anyone else (except those in my household), to live their lives by my standards.

Good afternoon. :)

So very Proud of Lt. Col. West. I think I celebrated his win the most, and continue to be impressed with him.

I know what you mean. My daughter spends a fortune on her two dogs. They’re her children. :-)

WOW! That is great. I’m a tad jealous. If she ever gets within 400 miles of Lookout Mountain I’m going to see her.

I’ve got over my ‘mad spell’ with her about endorsing and coming to Georgia to support Karen Handel in the Governor’s primary.

My guy, Nathan Deal, beat Karen and then Democrat Roy Barnes and is our next governor. He will do well.

Wasn’t thrilled with her work with Randy Paul here in KY, but not much else she could have done. :)

Glad your guy won! That’s the most important thing.
