The problem with people like Duncan Hunter and Pence, and most Representatives, is that they typically do really well in their districts, however, for some reason, are rarely ever able expand their success into larger areas.
I bet Pence makes a run for Gov of Indiana in 2012.

He may. It’s just rare for a Representative to successfully run for President. I believe, (and I could be wrong) that only James Garfield has done so.

I bet Pence makes a run for Gov of Indiana in 2012. If Pence has presidential aspirations, doing a good job as governor would be a good first step. He needs to prove he can administrate.
