An outbreak of gonorrhea across Alaska that began in 2009 is continuing this year, and health officials say they are trying new ways to curb it.
Between 2008 and 2009, the number of gonorrhea cases in Alaska rose an alarming 69 percent, according to a new U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report.

In a former life I used to fly into remote villages in Alaska to haul supplies. On one of these trips I was talking to one of the ground guys, he said that in this village the VD rate was well over 50%. This was a number of years ago.
She obviously had someone's favorite fantasy all figured out.
My bet is that if you superimpose a map of the gonorrhea infections over a map of newly imported Section 8 housing/welfare recipients, they will be an identical match.
