The Free-traders don’t like Hunter. What else is new? Glad to hear Savage, Ingraham, and some others finally catch on with the fraudulent “free trade” idea, that Hunter has been warning about since the early 1990s. Free trade is the biggest farce since global warming.

Sorry but I’m not calling a No vote on NAFTA and CAFTA a negative. Free Trade is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American Public. A little protectionism is not a bad thing. We need to get back to it and rebuild our manufacturing base.

“Free trade” has screwed this country royally. It’s a one-way proposition. Former US businesses were allowed to relocate overseas with much cheaper labor costs and then bring their products into the US sans tariffs. If you’re a US business trying to export to other countries, you know that “free trade” is a myth. Our trade representatives should be shot. Other businesses that had to stay due to excessive import transportation costs got cheap illegal labor to satiate their greed. It’s a race to the bottom with respect to global wage rates. Very few workers in this country will be able to maintain their salaries with global wage parity brought about by so-called “free trade.”

Given the results in the 2008 primaries, Club for Growth wasn’t the only ones opposing Hunter.

When I see posts like this, I think of this sad song from the TV show "Dollhouse":

Remains - (Burn down my home)

The song doesn't actually mean anything in this context, but it's a cool song.

I see that the lesson of 2008 for some is "make sure to burn down every house in the village but ours". Because it seemed like a good idea at the time, and who would have thought that the fire could spread.

The thing I LEARN from these posts is that in the 2008 election, we allowed people to post negative stories about everybody, even the strongest conservatives.

When it comes to trade, I fault the uncritical free traders at Club for Growth, and not Hunter.

Is Duncan Hunter, Sr., seriously, considering running for POTUS in ‘12? Is this the main reason for posting this, or not? I, still, like him, despite all of the reasons why many other people don’t like him.

Not to change the subject, but we’ve beaten “free trade” to death.

So what’s wrong with “No Child Left Behind”? I’m usually against top-down micro-management, but when we have a politicized educational establishment and a teachers gone wild workforce, I’d call “No Child Left Behind” a valiant effort at stopping a runaway train.

Unfortunately, our Dept of Education was already an insane asylum when “No Child Left Behind” was conceived, and no cure is possible. So let’s use the remainder of the “education” budget to put the education administrators on a one way cruise ship to any continent that will accept them. Global Warming makes Antarctica the perfect destination.

pissant is a troll. Pity, but he’s crossed the line and the Sarah Palin hatred isn’t welcome. Can’t attack her current policies -— policies of her own, so this “flashback stuff from McCain’s run” is the stuff of hateful losers.

Good job, Josh!

Club for Growth didn’t like the most conservative in the race? Next thing you’ll tell me is that CPAC is pushing for gay rights.
