The Obama administration's stepped up efforts at commercial airports across the country to prevent terrorists from getting on a plane have resulted in a debacle that has the American traveling public revolting.
And rightly so.
We have all heard the horror stories of 3-year-old children, 80-year-old grandmothers and people with prosthetic devices being subjected to humiliating body scans and pat-downs, in many situations leaving innocent passengers traumatized. In one recent incident, a bladder cancer survivor who now wears a urostomy bag was subjected to a pat-down which left him crying and covered in his own urine. In another case, a young boy was strip-searched right out in the open.
The Transportation Safety Administration continues to defend its policies, claiming that there is no other way to protect the public from a potential terrorist attack using a commercial aircraft. Even Barack Obama has said that these invasive methods, although an inconvenience, are a necessary tool that the flying public will just have to live with if we are to remain safe. Of course, neither Obama nor any member of congress are subject to these screenings. If they were, this nonsense would cease immediately.
Some experts believe that the techniques being employed are not only unnecessary, but also ineffective against the threat of a terrorist smuggling a weapon or explosive device onto an aircraft. Brigitte Gabriel, the founder of Act! For America, a 150,000-strong group that works to warn Americans against the dangers of militant Islam and the Muslims who follow it, says that these body scans and pat-downs would do virtually nothing to stop a determined terrorist from inserting explosives in a body cavity or even surgically implanting the destructive charges, because the machines and pat-downs will not detect them.
So if the pat-downs are both humiliating and ineffective, what is the answer?
Profiling.
The United States need only look to Israel as a shining example of nation that has effectively minimized the security threat while not inconveniencing passengers.
A former Israeli Airline Security Chief, in an interview with CNSNews.com, said that "airline security in America is an “illusion,” and that the United States should adopt El Al’s passenger profiling approach to ensure safety."
Isaac Yeffet, the former security chief for El Al Israel Airlines, said profiling is the answer, and it is not discriminatory.
If someone looks suspicious or fits the profile of someone who would commit a terrorist attack, they are pulled aside. Time is not wasted on grandmothers and young innocent children.
Let's face facts. The attacks of 9/11 and every subsequent attack were committed by people of Islamic extraction. These are the people who should be subject to screenings, pat-downs and strip searches.
The Obama administration has gone out of its way to placate the Islamic world, while subjecting Americans to inexcusable treatment.
In evidence of this, the Department of Homeland Security is considering allowing Muslim women to pat down themselves, in response from complaints from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). In effect, our government is subjecting most American citizens to abusive measures, while giving those most likely to commit a heinous act a pass.
Have the terrorists won?
The government needs to stop this idiotic sexual assault on its citizens and go after the people most likely to attack us.
Islamic terrorists.

It’s been time to start profiling for a long time but it ain’t going to happen. The politically correct bull**** in this country has reached critical severity. There is no longer any possibility of purging it. We only have two options:
1. Kill every last leftist
2. Commit suicide
There is no third option
“Profiling” works EVERY TIME” it’s tried. America needs to decide, do we want to continue practicing political correctness or do we want our country to survive? Political correctness is not compatible with survival.
Profiling would work 100%, but not with the morons that currently work in the TSA. We need to have staff who are as good and professional as the Israelis. We are certainly not going to get this with the patronage and stupidity system that we currently have.
The firings need to start at the top with the firing of Janet Napolitano, the stupidest of the whole lot.
If we really profile, what happens to the alien criminal in the White House or his Attorney General for that matter?

What about with a click of a button - you can find out anything about anybody that gets on a plane. It should be left to the airlines to solve this part of the problem (not government). They could check out all passengers before even getting on the plane. Then do like we have always done before.

I agree with you on that but it is no longer possible. We have a small window of time between 1950-1980 to preserve decency and roll back the brainwashing and corruption of entire generations. The enemy has already one the war.
If there is a God, he has clearly abandoned us and will be distanced from every living person on this Earth for countless millenia to come. We are totally alone and forsaken for all time.

The whole purpose of the current TSA pat down exercise is to upset the American public to the extent that there is an overwhelming outcry for profiling.
Obama cannot govern by positive action because the hold on his genitals by the left is too tight. Having the public oppose his actions in a grand fashion is the only way he can loosen the moonbat grip.
Ther recent failed trial in New York and the TSA atrocity are both applications of this method. Govern by extreme reaction
Of course it does but how else is Obama going to start staffing and training his civilian security force without raising eyebrows?
