The real reason for the “groping” is to get people to accept the scanners. Then once the population accepts the see-through-the-clothes scanners at the airport they will start rolling them out and train stations, bus terminals, stadiums and everywhere else.

We are well on track to becoming a total surveillance society.

They are already rolling them out at federal courthouses. I would demand a signed search warrent before I’d ever subject myself to a virtual strip search, and handily enough, there’s plenty of judges in a courthouse.

Exactly. You'll note that they aren't groping passengers at airports where the pornoviewer haven't been installed. If this were an actual security measure they'd be doing it everywhere. The groping is simply to force you into their porno generator.
