One of the common themes that people keep mentioning in talking about the new TSA pat down procedures is that those involved must "enjoy" the groping they're giving people. But, of course, most TSA agents are normal every day people who don't actually want to grope random people. Chris Tolles points us to a post from BoardingArea.com, who reached out to some TSA agents and found that many TSA agents hate the new rules and find it to be sapping morale to have to grope passengers. Some of it appears to be the verbal abuse they're getting from travelers, but some of it is just the fact that they have to keep touching people they'd rather not touch in that way:
"It is not comfortable to come to work knowing full well that my hands will be feeling another mans private parts, their butt, their inner thigh. Even worse is having to try and feel inside the flab rolls of obese passengers and we seem to get a lot of obese passengers!"
Of course, it does seem like a lot of the "morale" part comes from everyone accusing them of molesting them. I recognize, they're not the ones making policy, but many of the people being groped do feel violated and it's not surprising that many of them speak out.

Of course, it doesn't hurt tat the TSA Director John Pistole is a fascist and his boss, DHS Secretary Janet “Big Sis” Napolitano is a total moron. {I sincerely apologize to any morons I may have offended by lumping you all with “Big Sis” — she's in a class by herself.]
All the flying public needs to keep up the pressure on the TSA through refusing to fly, lawsuits, rants at Congress, giving these bastards and bitches as much grief as possible and documenting this all with ubiquitous smart phones. Then go to the media. Fry the scumbags at TSA and DHS. Turn up the heat and let them feel the BURN.
Ooops. “tat” = “that”.
This crap would stop pretty quickly if 1 out of 1000 victims of the pat down (or parents of the victims) would simply slug these bastards. What jury will conmvict you of assault if you hit someone who feels up your kid? If this happened 500 times a week, none of these shitheels would show up for work.
As an alternative, if enough people yell and scream for the local cops in the airport to arrest these assholes, the systems would, at a minimum, grind to a halt; best case would be TSA gropers refusing to show up for work. I also guarantee that if any member of my family is groped, I will sue the agent in question and every superior up the chain to that bitch from AZ.
I tend to agree, but these are Saul Alinsky tactics.
Yes, it shuts them down for the moment.
But it results in more bureaucrats writing more restrictive regulation. We have to be relentless in rejecting it. NO NEW LAWS! We need Constitutional Freedom! The MSM wont help. These Aholes are feeling the heat NOW. I guarantee they will try to fix it with more regulation.
Just what Alinsky proposed in Rules for radicals. I am not saying it wont work. Our founding fathers were radicals. I am saying it is dangerous, and we had better be vigilant or we could get worse as a result.
Then don't fly, cuz you can BET it WILL happen..
My fear is that as others have stated, this will be used to get us to accept the scanners.
Remember what Rahm said. “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste,”
There are plenty that think the scanners are a spoonful of sugar compared to the gropings.
If they ALL quit, then what?
I know jobs are hard to come by and no doubt that one pays pretty well, but there must be a limit. If these people hate it this much, the public needs to keep the pressure up on them.
I know it’s the government’s decision, but if nobody co-operates with this policy, what are they going to do? Jail the whole country?
If enough people made an issue about this and refused to go along with it, it would HAVE to stop.
Fines and jail time only work if people co-operate. Jury nullification is still an option.
You under estimate the stupidity of the masses.
Thanks for the link to that MSNBC article.
There’s the following poll in it.
Here’s the question and link.....
What do you think about “opt out” day?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40242420/ns/travel-news?#vote
TSA... Truly Stimulating Air travel
TSA... Terminal Sensual Arousal
mr. mm worked at a job once he had to quit because of a similar thing.
He WOULD NOT lie to the customers and did everything he could to buck company policy, but enough was enough and he finally quit.
Since we saw this eventually coming as the company put more and more pressure on to do that, we saved every penny we could. He was unemployed for several months, but we managed and God provided.
Speak for yourself
BTW, nice first post there, which airport do you do your groping at?
Thanks.
I think you really nailed it there.
It bears repeating, and repeating and repeating......
