Bull hockey!!! I HATE IT!!! It’s just another way for the government to become even more intrusive.

Mass hysteria?

“Those who would give up an essential Liberty for temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” You deserve neither.

I am not a criminal-minded person but even I can think up ways to easily get past these measures, and unless they were willing to literally take apart my body they would not be able to know whether I was a terrorist laden with WMD’s or just a normal person.

I agree. This is lunacy. We need to put the money into intelligent pre-screening and -- gasp -- profiling, not into this labor-intensive sexual harassment of vulnerable persons.

This is pretty much about war here—the citizens vs. tyranny in the form of the TSA, at the behest of the Manchurian Candidate in Chief and his minions. I think you’re mistaking this discussion for a meeting of the Miss Manners discussion group. The gent in question, a father of two of his own daughters, was assailing those of us who choose freedom over tyranny, and the right not to be touched in private places by strangers—all for the right to board an airplane.

Please. Read the article. They are indeed touching beneath the clothing. That is my documentation. Please show rules, regulations or other documentation to back up YOUR claim.

Like this woman, we all need to do SOMETHING.

Makes me wonder if this isn’t just an outright attempt to get us to revolt, or to see how far we will bend over for them before revolting. Or maybe an attempt to run the airlines out of business. I don’t know. But it smells to high heaven, and it’s totally useless for security purposes.

I've had the same exact thoughts.

>how about you people getting some perspective.<

How about you realizing this pony show by TSA does nothing to protect the public, nor does it fall within constitutional boundaries.

If outrage at the blatant disregard of our civil liberties is so offensive to you, why on earth do you bother posting on a conservative forum?

>>how about you people getting some perspective.<<

I agree. Here is some perspective:

People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.

And her fourth amendment rights were clearly violated - even if the TSA agent DID tell her what she was going to do.

I wonder if they’ve been mixing bird flu and swine flu samples lately - got any particularly contagious mixes ready for dissemination.

Seriously, are they going to do this kind of inspection on people who fly with masks because they are afraid of catching swine flu?

There are so many really malevolent reasons someone could want to do these searches and the reason given (security) is not even accurate. With the extreme stuff this administration has been willing to CRAM DOWN OUR THROATS there is a reason we don’t trust them. At this point they are mocking us, fiddling with our stuff to see if we’ll sock them in the mouth. Whether we are capable of socking them in the mouth.

If they found out we’re incapable then all bets are off as to what they will do next.

>>What they are doing is not only unconstitutional (4th Amendment) but is specifically prohibited by FEDERAL LAW, and anyone performing these intrusive searches, and those that order them, are liable for prosecution for sexual assault:

“Under 18 U.S. Code Section 2244, “ ‘sexual contact’ means the intentional touching, either directly or through the clothing, of the genitalia, anus, groin, breast, inner thigh or buttocks of any person with an intent to abuse, humiliate, harass, degrade.”<<

But they are just following orders. ;)

Complete pony show!

The southern border, within an hour of my house, is completely wide open, full of criminals walking over at will, bringing everything from diseases to weapons with them. They can’t even get so much as a red light speeding ticket under the cameras that watch US citizens 24-7 in southern Arizona.

And of course, this latest police state move is all about controlling the dumb American masses, while all the actual criminals roam about freely.
