The Pentagon Tuesday said it was trying to determine if a missile was launched Monday off the coast of Southern California and who might have launched it.

But, anyway, that 2009 contrail in that post is EXACTLY like the one from last night. Guess it’s all in the angle of observation.

Those are fotos not vids. From my location on Long Island I see airliner contrails at altitude all the time and my location has a big sky view. None of them have ever appeared to move as this one did. This contrail appears to be from a solid fuel motor, not a turbo fan engine.

It was CLEARLY an airplane.
Yeesh - the conspiracy people are out in force today. Once proven that it was an airplane then I am sure people still won’t believe it.

FWIW, I think if there’s an innocent explanation for that thing, we’d’ve found it already. Or should have.
So? None of the ones you have seen have looked like a missile. I have seen PLENTY that look like missiles. Just because you say it can’t be so - doesn’t make it true.
There are plenty of websites and images online that are airplane contrails - psst they look like missiles.
Sometimes the OBVIOUS explanation IS the explanation.
Well, if it was a commercial jet, shouldn’t we have been able to ID which one left it? Was the area covered by air traffic control?
