Thank you, Taz for the update and thanks everyone for all the prayers!  The past 6 months have been a train wreck.

This morning was pre-op, a whirlwind of x-rays, blood test, and EKG and a couple of interviews with anesthesia and nursing; a few hours there and I was on my way home.  Heading down the Expressway I noticed a snowflake, wasn’t supposed to snow any further north than Cape Cod but this flake steadily multiplied and half way home it was blowing and roads were icing up.  Traffic slowed to a stop.  At about two mph we rolled by 6 accidents, all within about a two mile span.   In about 20 minutes we went from clear roads to treacherous one.  It was like two days in one.

Surgery is Wednesday morning 6 am so Tuesday night I'm staying at a hotel across the street from the hospital.  Then over time it will be my job to pass the smaller stones. 

Your prayers have lifted me up and given me hope; they are the blessings that I pray will end this.

but the weather sure got fierce quickly. Thank God
